I have to take umbrage (UMBRAGE I TELL YOU!) with saying one console game beats 50 touchscreen games. Having been a gamer for 25 years, I find the iPad games I have been playing the last year to be some of the most inventive, challenging and joyous experiences in gaming I have experienced. The first time I saw all 75 units duking it out in Heroes and Castles... The many times I've won games of ShadowGuneadzone... The joy of Jetpack Joyride... 100 Rogues.. I don't know. iBlast Moki 2... All the board games like Puerto Rico, Le Havre, etc.... I prefer iPad.. And when you factor in the price point of entry for apps... Plus cheap DLC... I don't understand buying a 60 dollar console game than having to spend cash on 3-4maps.. I guess it's however you want to spend your cash. I'll enjoy a good game of BLack Ops II that my brother brought any day
Loving the updates and the bots! Great job guys . I had hoped for some sort of 'console' block that would be required to deploy a bot, and would then require defending, but this works too. Quick question, though. Am I the only one for whom flares have quit working? They fire, but do not light up the battle field. This is true on new as well as existing maps, in survival mode. I guess I've never tried either of the other modes, so didn't think to check there. Anybody?
With the amount of freedom and interaction in Black Ops II, I think I'd still go over to my 360 rather than an iPad with 50+ paid games any day . But then again I was quite rudely aggravated for expressing my opinion, all of a sudden the 50 games turn to 10 as they multiplied their price by 5 just to unlock content. But then again I'd have to agree I had fun on airplanes and car rides with simplistic games such as cut the rope and kingdom rush
N64, GameCube, Gameboy color/advance, PSP, PS2, PS3 You expect a $1 game on your phone to parallel a $50 game on your gaming console? There lies your problem. What are you doing here exactly? I have all the good titles. Perhaps not. I would, but I'm making muffins. Of course it is. I've paid under $10 in in-app purchases in my years of mildly excessive iOS gaming, and they were all optional. I think we're done here.
That was unnecessary, but you didn't answer anything. Of course a $1 game can't be matched to a $50, but than again can 50 $1 games? That's like comparing 50 toyotas with an lambourghini. Besides, consoles are cheaper than devices.
Go on? I have no idea how to... interpret your earlier post The follow up post was the most useless reply too. You actually have no explanation. Nice gifs btw.
I have also noticed two bugs. The first is that the standard bot has issues with collecting coins that are partially inside another block or partially underwater. It seems to just stand there prioritizing on that coin (while ignoring all others) buy will make no attempt to move toward it. Secondly I had a round where a Decoy Goblock got stuck on a section of the map that it should have had nothing to get stuck on. It just kept going from water square to beach square and back again. I was able to kill it manually and end te round though.
That makes me feel better, at least! And it will make some of my late-game (round 100+) maps interesting. Current strategy is 'man the tower, keep the flares lit, let the howitzer batteries do their work, ignore the piles of gold coins'. Guess I'll have to sacrifice damage/ROF for a detector mod, or string up some target lights. Thanks for confirming the bug, great job on the rest of the update!
Is there a chance that there will be a magnet bot? All coins close to or within radius of it comes closer to the bot. Something like that. With upgrades like Magnetic strength and range or something.
This is the tips thread. At low level you will not survive the night well. Just keep playing and learning though. That is the fun part. This thread has lots of tips. Your job right now is to farm special minerals so you can craft upgrades so you can last longer so you can level up faster so you can access more stuff etc. Your base can be awesome looking by level 20 to 50 depending on what you build with.
