Same here; before this latest update, I'd been syncing between an iPad (3rd gen) and an iPhone 5. Since the update, I cannot push or pull data to/from iCloud. I'm really hoping they fix this, as I put a few hours into the new version on the iPad before seeing there was a problem and I don't really want to put those hours back in on the phone! The game is great, though; keep up the great work guys!
Same here mate, quite a few people here have some serious talent. Foursaken media really should have a contest for the most creative base.
Here's another map for you guys to try out - Dark Castle (id:151040) There are multiple teleporters around the ground area to get back up to the main castle, should you fall off!
Does anyone know when you first encounter goblin bombers? They are all I have left and I have gotten past level 50, both in character level and in survival. Btw heavy plasma handheld is epic!!!
They absolutely do allow other turrets to detect them and fire on them. Motion sensors project a sphere that if any shadow comes into the sphere then any turret can fire on it. In the picture below you can see how small the detection range is so you have to build a perimeter of them to catch them in all directions.
Is this a bug? It says that my flare needs one power block to work, but it still works even without a power block >_>
Thats what I meant- I believe he was asking if having a tower in the range of a motion sensor allowed the tower to target all shadows.
Last Image: Best way I've found to use motion sensors: Even out a plateau around your base, and sink them into the floor. The shadows cluster on top making them easy targets. When the shadows get to close and get on the walls of the light blocks/motion sensors, the block they're attacking blocks them from being attacked. My base is literally maintenance free.
FM just announced a lite version of block fortress on twitter. I think that means multiplayer is coming soon.
Totally reconfigured base - level 375 Totally stripped down and rebuilt to withstand levels above 350... Guide : light blue squares cover motion sensors, red squares cover mining drills. Need enormous firepower for the little ninja guys close to the barracks and at the same time don't want that firepower focussing on other distractions (see picture), and now the giants are starting to cause trouble (+50,000 hp). Howitzers, heavy plasma and vortex seem are invaluable at these levels... plus replaced my 50 cals for maxed out plasma's... seem to have all round more power. Also, new base on Snow Hills - level 130. Basic strategy is to cover the entire field of fire. So far so good. Plus demonstrating the power of motion sensors! D
Man, some of these bases just look awesome! Really cool to see what people are doing Anyway, coming soon: "pet" bots! They will have different attributes and can be crafted on with different modules. You'll be able to set a few different behaviors as well.
Wow Just the thought of my own little pet army.... so cool. A competitive multiplayer mode would be cool... maybe even just an FPS mode, no basebuilding... different players with different configs; you can get a lot of variety with those 5 slots, especially if you add a jump pack and other items... I'd love to be on the attacking side as well, trying to take down someone else's blockfortress, like infiltrating the cool bases people are making in sandbox mode, have a flag you capture to "win" the map or something.... there is SO much you can do with Block Fortress, can't wait to see what Foursaken cooks up!
Words... Fail me... Should have sent a poet... These guys are EMBARRASSING all other devs at this point. Stop it already, we aren't even sick of H&C yet!!
