Here, http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=181228 My first two posts are regularly updated all the time with new and better info, but it's the general advice after all so join in with us
Wishlist: 1.Display kill counts of each turret when displaying information. 2.Ability to toggle off terrain destruction
I like this Also had a new idea for a turret that has to be placed 2-3 squares above the block under it and periodically thumps the ground like a piston to cause damage to units that pass under it. Granted it wouldn't be a mass use turret and very situational but there isn't anything like that at all at the moment!
would be amazing for seeing what placements of turrets work out best and which kill the most baddies!
@Foursaken - I think it would be really cool to have a FPS only mode. At some point when you guys add multiplayer you could add a death match FPS mode. Plus with the new upload/download map feature, it would be cool to play on user built maps. The possibilities are endless with this game. I'm just imagining someone recreating an old Halo map or something and then a few guys can just death match it out. I'm thinking maybe Hang 'em High or something... I think that would be pretty sick. I'm just dreaming... Think about it though. Edit* I hate autocorrect...
You could expand the Block Fortress concept to create even a seperate FPS campaign. The possibilities are endless. Which is awesome. I can't wait for multiplayer
Why are we not able to look straight down? I find that I can not target bad guys sometimes because I am so high that I can not look down far enough. Can that limit be lifted?
Ha, this is why I need the terrain blocks coming in the update. I built mountains and snowy areas around my base using stone and white paint blocks. (the closest thing I currently have to match the terrain) The trouble is, the enemies just slowly chip their way through the back of my mountains and barely come anywhere near the actual main part of the base itself.
I would like to see a distinction in the way enemies handle walls. As it is currently I can't justify spending resources on wall as a defense other than a small chess board like pattern around my barracks as a distraction. I personally think it would be more fun if all melee and light ranged units attempted to scale walls while sappers and heavy weapon enemies attempt to destroy them.
I kind of wish walls had the repair mod. Plus here's something I thought up that could be useful with dealing with shadows. What if they introduced a forcefield block that has 250 HP + deals 25% of the enemies health everytime they strike the block. It would need 1 energy to operate and cost 20 Material and 20 gold to build. It only reflects melee attacks. Mods to the block would include, salvage 1/1, repair 5/5, HP, Power Source 1/1, Damage reflector 5/5. With Damage reflector level 1 increases damage countered to 30%, 2 = 35%, 3 = 40%, 4 = 45%, and 5 = 50% of the enemy health.
I agree. I have nothing against really tough opponents, I just think they need to be incorporated into the block-building, tower-defending mechanism that the rest of the game operates by.
I don't think there should be an easy mode included in survival mode but okay. The main game changer right now is the fact that minerals mined during the round can be kept if you save the game before the round ends, in my opinion this is extremely unfair and allows people to obtain large numbers of lasers very early as they cost only $15 but 60 minerals. Suggested hotfix is allowing saving only before a wave starts. A better suggestion is that a player competing for the rankings should not be able to save the same game in more than 1 slot, thus not allowing them to go back to a previous stage and replan. Obviously the current highscores must be erased first with the next update, but that's your choice..
