Ive tried this and it didnt work. Is it just the drill one and not the mine? This is really impt though, so ill test. Thx for reminder!
Mesh is probably my favourite material in the game. It only costs 2 gold for 200 health. As you can see I have farms at the bottom. I replaced lots of dirt with mesh so I don't destroy any of it during the round. I have teleporters set up that allow me to get from the top to the bottom with ease and I plan on adding lasers later on. Along with a flare at the top, followed by other things and such
So I bought the shotgun and then when I started a new level in survival I had to buy it again!!! I thought that once you bought something you did not have to buy it again! Am I wrong?
Survival mode you start from wave 1 with nothing everytime, unless your loading a save game. But that's the point you earn everything as you go, to see how far you can last, If you kept all your weapons it would be to easy. The only upgrades you keep are the ones you craft on the main menu.
Unique Tip: MIRV can kill the shadow people. It can't target them, but if shadow people are next to normal people, and the mirv fires, the shadow people can get damaged. If you have like 10 mirvs, you can really beat up a lot of the shadow folk before they get to your base.
Why would you have to do that? I'm using the toucharcade app and it gives you the option to add an attachment to your post. I think you are making it harder than it needs to be. I just posted a picture about 10 pages back a few days ago using the app just fine.
You can also do it when using safari. Just go advanced and click manage attachments. There, you can choose files from you photo app or whatever.
I have a bug that keeps reoccuring: twice now there is "1enemy left" and there is no enemy. I wait for them to come(5 min) and nothing, causing me to be stuck at defend mode. Anyone else? Who should I talk to?
Hey I'm the person who he was telling how to put the image in. I use the touch arcade app but there is no option to add an attachment for me
Restart the level but search the whole map beforehand and kill them. Sometimes they glitch through things and well :/
thanks, i'll try that next time. I have restarted the level, only to have it happen again. havn't tried searching the whole map..
I know. The way you were telling him just sounded like a lot more work than it needed to be. You don't have the [ Add an attachment ] button below your Message window?
Post your level and survival wave progress! I'm lvl 39 and at wave 32 campaign. I could go further i believe, just wanted to replay some of my older save games to lvl up and farm more minerals. I use alot of the basic Plasma Turrets as they are relatively cheap and still do decent range and damage. I use some 25 orbital lasers, i find them really good. A few Howitzers too. For weapons i use Plasma rifle/Stun gun, armor, stim pack and detector (swap armor and stun gun as needed) Stim pack is a must with its run speed and health regen. You will save a ton by not having to make any farms at all
Yeah, this is a known bug :/ (turns out that enemies can sometimes spawn deep underground, encased in granite). We've already submitted an update with a fix, though. And, we're also almost done with 1.1, which will include base sharing, an easier difficulty for survival mode, more sandbox flexibility, tons of optimizations, and more!
@Foursaken. Is it possible to create a mod that will disable the terrain destroying effect of some of the guns? The reason I say make it a mod is because some people seem to like this feature. I'm not really a fan. I upgraded my plasma rifle with 3 damage mods and 1 armor piercing mod and it destroys everything it touches... It gets really annoying. The fact that it's so powerful is awesome, but I'm afraid to use it most of the time. I would prefer to keep the terrain intact for most of the part.
Man, some of these bases are AWESOME - keep posting screens guys! I think it also really helps for people to see others bases to get an idea of what works and what doesn't. The only thing persistent in Block Fortress (atm) is your character level (and health). Other than that, you have to start from scratch every time to see how long you can last. This is why it might be a good idea to have several saves for one run so you can go back a few rounds if you messed up.
