It's in the Craft section. You can add mods to your weapons and blocks, etc by using rare minerals.

I think the game that will take iOS to a new level will be Forgotten Memories, looks to be the type of game that people will be happy to fork over 10 dollars to have this game. As far as advanced games on iOS go. I still rank Dead Space up there as one of the best in gameplay and best graphical games on iOS.The modern combat games by Gameloft are fantastic also. I still think Call of duty World of war zombies holds it's own. Even though the game is 4 years old. The optimization for that game is incredible 50mb for 4 zombie maps including Shi no numa and Der Riese.

That's just mods. I was talking literal upgrades. Like, base would be level 1. Level 2 upgrade could add like +1 or +5% to tower abilities including mod abilities/stats in original equation.

Yeah, you open the app, the tap Craft, right under Play. Then from there you can add mods to your weapons and blocks, like faster reload times, higher damage, higher durability for blocks, etc. You have to be like level 16 to use Armor for your character, though. I recommend buying the XP doubler, you'll level up faster.

I've read about 15 pages and found nothing about this...

Finished a round and it says 4 enemies left. There are none. I'm doing so well on this map and now I can't progress. Gah...

I'm really digging the game! The controls suck but if you spend enough time setting up your base, you can get the turrets to do most of the work for you.

My strategy is to enclose the barracks and hide some machine guns inside there, then build towers on top of that. Put howitzers on top of the towers, and as long as they have light they will blow up most of the bad guys.

Here's a video of my best attempt so far:

It pretty much shows you the layout you need to be successful. If there is interest I can do more videos and show the inside as well.

It means Minerals. There's random minerals scattered randomly across maps, they look like mini-blocks. So you need to build a Mine Shaft RIGHT on top of the Mineral and a Power Block to power it, and it'll be mining Minerals for you. :)

I think calling the game tower defense is a mistake, personally. Yeah, it has the guys attacking in waves and you building in between, but it has none of the monster pathing control familiar from TD games.

I have noticed a slight jerk when I push the fire button for the first time. Easy to compensate for but typically the first round fired from a clip for me is wasted.

    Couple thoughts for FM:

Adjustable fire button would be cool.
Some way to re-load mid clip would be AMAZING.

I think these have already been addressed but just in case. This game is so great!

It's an opinion so there's pretty much a zero chance here but....

There is still a base or tower that needs defending and baddies coming to break it. To me that's a TD. Pathing doesn't define the genre imo.

Cool video/fortress. Thanks for posting. I definitely saw you struggling with the controls a few times there. At least I'm not alone.

Alright guys, getting a hotfix out very soon. As always, we've been listening to every bit of feedback! We already are deep in thought about a pure TD mode, multiplayer, and you'll see the upload/download map system in place in the next update (after this hotfix) :)

    Tentative changes for hotfix:
    • added tutorial button info prompt
    • fixed a bug where you could not complete a stage, despite all enemies being killed
    • added iCloud support for character level, crafted mods, and rare resources (note: this does NOT transfer over individual game saves!)
    • fixed the initial screen jerkiness when shooting your weapon and looking around, for smoother and more responsive controls
    • added individual option to adjust screen sensitivity when shooting
    • changed the way data is stored, mitigating some of the memory crashes on low gen devices during a save
    • increased up/down look angle
    • repositioned attack button on widescreen devices

Jerk will be fixed in 1st update, and you can reload by double tapping your current weapon icon.

Awesome stuff FM! Do "hotfixes" have to go through the normal review process from Apple? How long do they usually take?

Silly me haha. I've been running around shooting at nothing when I get a break between mobs so I can have a full clip for the next mini-wave.
