Come again and tell how we angle downward? I placed it beside other blocks which I thought was what was said to do, and cant place anything on top of it... so I cant just mount a turret in a wall? like a window?

There's one difference: some blocks cost you minerals and the others costs you money. This comes in handy if you are short on one resource.

If you can't place a block directly on top of another one, build around it. But be careful because you might end up restricting your turret's field of view.

Love the new game, really hits a unique strategy spot.

    1. How do you regain life? Is there some kind of powerup I can buy that I didnt notice?

    2. I love the pricing of this game. 1.99, plus .99 for the xp doubler. I think most people will buy the xp doubler, due to the cost. If anyone is familiar with elasticities of demand, as an elastic good, game publishers need to find a sweet spot to make the most revenue, and I really think foursaken hit it here really well. The price of the xp doubler is really perfect considering the overall price model.

    3. I HATE DARK STAGES! Spotlights cost too many blocks, and the other lights didnt do diddly squat. I'll get better though.

Thanks for the game! Really well done yet again!

You can buy farms, and eat them when they grow to restore health.

    The Enemy

Doesn't this game get boring with the same singular enemy unit?

The light blocks are great. Make sure to give then as much room to shine as possible. Putting them side by side with other blocks negates their area effect. I prefer them over spotlights.

    Two quick questions:
How's this game run on iPhone 4? Laggy?
And how are the FPS controls?

Games looks awesome, even if it runs poorly on iphone I'll probably buy anyway so I have it when I get a Mini in June

This post o' mine actually answers those two very questions, but not with good tidings.

Buy it regardless. I'd probably have enjoyed it even hard it been twice as hard to control.

I hereby second everything said here. Controls, reloading, everything. (Especially the aiming, though. It gives the game a rather unpolished feel.)

I'd also like to add that trees are annoying as heck. They should be either cheaper to remove or less plentiful.

However, I'm still loving this so far! I recently bought H&C too, and that is even more incredible.

    Awesome!

Great job and hats off to the Devs! This is a unique and fun experience while the controls are smooth and intuitive on the iPad. It's a crime that the game is only a couple bucks but I have a feeling this awesome game will sell like crazy....

As you can see in my sig I have too many gaming options....I also don't care for Minecraft but this game will get plenty of attention from me...it's a blast to play and very easy to learn yet difficult to master. Many hours of replay and strategizing. :D

    And YES...please add multiplayer?!

I would like to add: THANK YOU for allowing multitasking and for allowing custom music including running Pandora in the background as it really adds to the enjoyment of a game like this!

Question: You guys know you can use the shoot button as a stick to adjust your aim while firing, right? I think this is a popular feature on iOS FPS games, but I don't play them much so it took me a while to notice. I kept trying to aim with my thumb above the trigger and then hold the button, and that made the aiming feel jerky for me. Once I figured it out, all was good.

Thats a good point... almost all shooting is supposed to generally be sustained fire, fine tuning your aiming while continuously holding the shoot button. The screen swipes should generally be used for broad looking movements.

That being said, we are looking into ways to mitigate that initial pixel jerk when you first look around.

    Plasma Rifle.

Buy one and shoot everything to kingdom come, including trees. :p

Once you unlocked it you can buy it cheap enough to get in the first wave, and upgraded with no reload it will pretty much last 20+ waves in usefulness.

Nt only that, you can do the first few levels without turrets if you want to put all the money on mines this covers the defence for a while on its own. Even level 5 night mode with a modded one.
