I agree, I'm playing on iPad4 with the latest iOS and it runs smooth, just as smooth as any other game. I haven't noticed any jerkiness or lag or anything?

I've only been to wave five in survival mode so far but there gets to be quite a few enemy's on screen at once and still no lag of any kind.

I have an iPad two and I haven't had much jerkiness in any game unless I was downloading other apps while I was playing a game or needed to reboot.

Made it to level 7 so far... Any game tipps? Where are defenses the most efficent? High above the ground?

How do you guys expand your base? Building a second one or make your first bigger?

What i can tell so far: I hate nights!

AWESOME. Only played a few rounds so far but I'm floored by the depth of strategy and progression involved. Also, pleasantly surprised by how well it controls on my oldskool iTouch 4. To the naysayers: Play a few rounds before condemning the controls. I definitely feel a bit overwhelmed still, but every game I play I gain a better grasp of the controls and strategery involved. I'm going to be playing this game for a long long long time.

I cant believe I get to carry a game with this much depth around in my pocket.

Going to play some more now!

I love TD games and if this was pure TD I'm not sure I would get anything done all day. I'm not saying the fps portion is badly done. Just not my taste is all. Consider a pure TD version or mode? :)

    Keep up the good work.

This is a really dumb questions but what is the "m" resource that you use for walls and stuff and how do you earn more?

Runs great on my ipad4. No problems whatsoever.

Excellent game, but I feel it could really do with an optional interactive tutorial, plus the FPS part is pretty underdeveloped, why no headshots? :p

To get more you have to build mine shafts on top of the little mineral cubes scattered throughout the land.

Runs great on iPad 2 by the way. No hiccups, shuttering, or crash. It's as smooth as can be.

    Playing on iTouch 4:
Everytime I level up (playing quickstart) my game starts stuttering really badly before inevitaby crashing. It's happened everytime since level 1. Other than that, works great, thanks for the awesome game :)

    199mb.

Foursaken I have a thought for you guys. I think some of the recent comments have made it clear that some form of tutorial or "practice levels" might be helpful with the learning curve. Maybe even just record an "official" tutorial with video's and put it on youtube. I'm willing to play through the learning curve and figure it all out but I was also committed from the beginning and I've literally downloaded and played all of your games. Some form of tutorial might help bridge the gap and help bring this game to the unsuspecting masses who are unacquainted with your previous work.

Did you tap the "!" Icons as they came up when you first played? Little info blurbs came up after every action during your first game, giving you the basics. You can re-read them in the help section on the main menu, or you can tap the "?" Icon in the equipment menu (on the right). Were you looking for something more?

can someone explain the differences in gameplay between this and Heroes and Castles?

I own both games, but can't fully dive into both at the moment. Would like to pick one, but not sure which.

Seems HC has more first player, while BF involves actual building of towers?

Yea and that was more sufficient for me. I was just thinking some sort of video or handholding tutorial might help some ppl who feel overwhelmed by how much is going on.

H&C involves building units and defenses, while hacking up the enemy with your hero. Its more of an action/RPG mixed with strategy.

BF is kind of the opposite... its more about building, planning, and strategy. So its more like a strategy/TD mixed with action.

I would say if you're a bit more into action, get H&C, if you're a bit more into strategy/TD, get BF ;)

Of course we absolutely love both games, so hopefully someone else can give a better recommendation ;)

Yeah, I could see that. I think it will help once we get the upload/download system in place, so new players can download other peoples' fortresses and see what more advanced ones look like.

Well I wasn't going to get this, minecraft isn't for me but you are great developers and after reading comments in the forum I can see it is different to minecraft.

I love heroes and castles and after all the comments in here I'm going to buy it and give it a go. All the updates you've made for H&C let's me know you guys won't just release the game then forget about it like some other devs.

Good point, didn't think of that.

I just made it to the 5th wave haha. I feel so accomplished. How far has everyone gotten in survival mode?

Hi every one at TA :D

This far, with a laser fortress.
    NO IAP at all.

Only two upgrades on blocks so far. Trying to use my upgrades to cover parts as I play which I think could be left alone and/or need beefing up

This is the second map I have got to wave 16/17 on but I think I need to upgrade some blocks again or restructure a few more basic guns facing Down on the sides of walls as it seems to give a very good damage bonus to them, which can change the battle completely.
