Block Drop 0.99$
There is a free web version available at blockdrop.com
I'm really enjoying the game though. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is really simple and easy to understand
What exactly is the object of the game
You take the stone from the starting point and end on the checkered finishline.
However, once you hop off a stone it sinks into the water so it can't be used again, and you must sink all stones before finishing the level.
There is also survival stages where stones appear and you must move quickly before they sink
Looks great. How does the iPhone version stand up against the online one, graphcally I mean(assuming you have bought the iPhone version).
Iphone version looks much better. It's definitely been optimized for the small screen
Just tried the flash game, got to level 7. This does seem to have the elements of (for me) a good puzzle game...simplicity plus challenge. One feels like one should be able to solve the levels easily.
Not sure I'll buy it...more because Unblock Me is currently filling the simple but challenging puzzle nitch for me, but this seems a worthy game.
Are you timed?
No, it's Pass/Fail.
Hmm, I may have to pick this up then How would you describe the music? upbeat? relaxing?
Relaxing.. also when you get stuck on a level it can show you the solution.
Just played the flash version - I definitely like it - but how are the controls handled in the iphone/ipod version?
Dpad on the right and a "Shift" button on the left that you hold to enable the long jump
Ooops, those were seen in the first screenshots too, huh?
The Title thread is an oxymoron
How can a Puzzler be Relaxing ?
Just means there is no timer and the music is relaxing. If puzzlers frustrate you then it is not relaxing
Just to clear it up, the title was changed by someone which I m sure was not me. I wonder who else
I havent even tried it yet.
I am really enjoying this game I love puzzles that require planning and thought, instead of fast reflexes ( aside from that darn survival mode ).
The music is great, very relaxing and goes really well with the serene backgrounds. Overall a great puzzle, and with hundreds of levels an EXCELLENT deal for only 99 cents.
