A few reasons, first of this is a new fresh title, second it runs a lot smoother then nova 3 ever has on my iPhone 5, third games like modern combat are cod clones with iron sights and low hop, this game is a little more tf2 and quake where you can take some punishment and half the weapons lack iron sights to get in the way. And finally the net code feels a lot better to me here, I can play against oversea opponents without feeling punished, while in nova 3 it's really bad.
They need to have a status page where they can tell people what's happening and how long they'll be down. His is very rude to just leave people in the dark.
Server issues are typical with the release of new Gameloft games. Happened with Mc3, Mc4, NOVA 3.. Give the servers a few days to buff out, and it should be fine
This game was released as a soft release back in February though... Shouldn't they have this worked out by now?
Most games have flaws when they first come out, even after a soft launch. Bugs come up... maybe they weren't expecting so many players, or possibly just hadn't worked out some things before launch.
When there's not enough players they may turn off servers especially in countres where people are sleeping.
This really is not a bad game. It's free so definitely give it a try. Really wish they would do away with the auto-aim though. Also, lets hope for some more environments soon.
This game immediately crashes upon starting up the app on my ipad4, it doesn't even get past the game loft title screen. Is this happening for anyone else?
does anyone find the IAP system a bit over the top? I mean I appreciate that it is a free game and all, but the ridiculous price of anything has put me off, for example the bundle to unlock the sniper + assassin and a couple of weapon is 20 DOLLARS!!!... thats the price I paid for team fortress 2 (the game obviously ripped off tf2) before it went free.. if the iap is a bit cheaper then I might actually consider paying as I am quite enjoying this game
