@jak, very nice. I've dispatched a reviewing code your way. We could use some reviews on launch day (tomorrow), to help getting that buzz going.
@arta, its a very nice video isn't it? My partner (the guy who did all the graphics) cut together the video, and I think it turned out quite well :D

There's a bug- the momen you go on the highscprw list, the game crashes. It's a shame really, as the game is really nice, apart from the controls Which feel a bit imprecise.

Edit: I've kinda got used to the controls, but the bug could be a major drop sales wise: I strongly suggest you pull back release until this is fixed, or sales night drop dramatically!

Try it now. I think I fixed the issue serverside. There was a highscore with no name attached to it, so when the game went to parse the scores it crashed . I must've accidentally posted it up when I was fooling around with the highscores code. Anyways, it should work now.

    Edit:
I just looked at OpenFeint, and immediately signed up. I'm completely sold. You all should have complete OpenFeint integration within the time it takes Apple to approve an update + a day or two (I just got started coding this changeover).

The trailer looks fantastic! I think I'll really like this game. I'm no reviewer for an official site, but if you give me a promo code I'll review your game in iTunes (my iTunes name = FrogUSA).

If we have any left after the official sites and contest winners, I'll be sure to send one your way. We also have a Lite version, coming out with the full one, with very few limitations. You have been given access to 4 guns (the uzi, the flamethrower, and the shotgun rockets, the shotgun), and there is a score limit on your playing, after which it takes you to an ad for the full version, and you just have to tap to return to the main menu. Highscores work, settings work, the full tutorial works. If we don't get around to getting you a code, and you don't want to spend $.99, you can always download that for free.

Ok. If I don't win (hope I do) I'll try out the lite and maybe buy your game.

I've got another entry for the contest: a drunken launcher. It's basically a shotgun rocket launcher, but the rockets don't go straight, they wobble all round the place.
I also a weapon that shoots a ninja star would be nice. It flies through the plane and returns to the ground. If it hits you, you will lose some health, but if you aim right you can inflict double damage (up and down). Hope you understand this....:D

I like both of those ideas. We already have a saw blade launcher, but I can add gravity to the blade for our update (let it do double damage). The drunken rockets could be really fun too.

I am working hard to incorporate OpenFeint, and it should be available as an update within two weeks, if Apple's approval times remain steady.

yeah, but the current crashing will give a really bad first impression on the public, which might cause your app to sell bad!

    but yeah, openfeint ftw!

Openfeint is fun, but does it crashes always when you open the highscore screen? If that's the case I would decide to pull the game. Btw, you already have a 5 star review from some guy in the US store.

Sainter means "consequences" as in "banned" or "infraction."

may I make a request of the powers that be? Can somebody move this thread to the games section, as it was released last night?

On another note, we're already working on the update, for those of you interested. Here's our (tentative) todo list for it:
Full OpenFeint Integration, with Achievements [Already Done]
    Pause Menu
Game Modes: Classic, Sudden Death, Sandbox
Smarter Blimp AI for when you're under the ledge
3 Blimp Types (Machinegun, Flamethrower, and Laser)
Badass Death Animation (No blood, just an angel that comes out of the body)
    2 More Maps (Sandstorm, Icy)
