Oops good point, yep fair enough if people are falling in love with the beta. Just i've been 'burnt' before with so much hype about certain games. I hope this game stands up to what i'm hearing though
Lol. No problem. I totally feel the same way you do about games lately. There's been a lot of games that got so much hype and turned out to be huge disappointments. Spider-Man, tdnr, wild blood to name a few. But don't get me wrong some of the best gaming I've done on the ios has come from games I've played recently. Bastion, street fighter volt, and the upcoming nyz2 are all great games. And I throw in volt because it really shows that you can have a competive online community on the ios platform and it is by far the game I've played the most. Getting back on track, I'm super excited about this. I truly believe its going to be a great game!
Any news? Release date maybe D: please I'm itching to know a release dateeeee Btw does anybody know how to change my account info? I want to change the device & OS I got hahaha thanks
you guys are not the only ones the beta forums have been pretty dead for like a month now without any news or new builds to test either is going great or maybe this come in 2013
Ok you guys I just got some exciting news as I have received an email from the game studio. They say it will be released this November
Thank you for the info, it really helps to manage my iOS monthly money when release date is known I first heard of it in september last year, since they had a little video of it to show, it stands to reason that it has been in development for a quite some time now (1+ year) and that is always a good thing. I really hope it will live to expectations
Hang in there, guys! Plenty of good stuff coming soon. And we WILL make it out in 2012 Brett @kerosenegames kerosenegames.com
That hardly sounds reassuring, knowing your track records. All things said, like many others here, I think Bladeslinger would have made an impact if released 12 months ago. By holding up, now there are so many more graphically rich games (this was Bladeslingers strong point). With a gameplay thats not great either, I think Bladeslinger will be DOA. Maybe cause a few splashes here and there, but nothing like the behemoth I envisaged it to be a year ago.
Totally fair to discount ETAs at this point I guess our only hope is to pleasantly surprise you and others when the game is released? I think the developer has done an incredible job taking what they had a year ago, and not just keeping pace with the industry's changes, but innovating on a number of important fronts. You can ask some of the folks on this board that have played the game in beta versions what they think, but i'm very glad the game wasn't shipped a year ago. It needed more time to bake and become very polished. We think it's there now, and we really do hope you give it a shot. Brett @kerosenegames kerosenegames.com
Self-removed > I erroneously spilled intricate details (criticisms) about the game based on the Beta. My apologies.
