If a dev can clear all this up ill press the buy button right now. 1. How much will each chapter cost? 2. Will the chapters be delivered via in-app? 3. What kind of IAP are there, if any? 4. What's your favourite color? 5. What time frame are we looking at for each chapter to be released?
So.....you pay $2.99 for ALL SIX or pay that amount each time? I believe it is former the way they have structure the naming of the app. Anyways, seems greedy to me. $2.99 x 6 = $18. I am very sure the earlier plan was to release a complete game...we lose, they win (money wise). Well played Luma and Kerosene (I think Kerosene planted this idea as they are the pubs and need the $$$).
Okay so I understand that this developer (and many others) are using the 'digital compass' thing to prevent incapable devices from downloading their software, but here is my question... I have a 5th generation ipod touch which is perfectly capable of running Bladeslinger, I have money to pay the developer, I have time to enjoy the game, BUT I cannot buy it because the 5th generation ipod touch has no digital compass?! The app description even states "will run on iphone 4 and ipad 2". Please help me understand why I am being locked out of purchasing this amazing looking game?!?!
I can answer number 3. Consumable IAPs to fast track progress. Purportedly doesn't disturb balancing of the game. I'm curious to know the answers to the other questions as well...with the exception of, urm, No.4.
Has anything been done about the controls? As innovative as they are, they were also hard to get used to and to master for many of us. A classic control scheme, as an option to Kerosene's preferred method, or an ever more interesting blend, would do wonders for fine-control. If not, I'd be happy as long as movement was updated to ensure that the Bladeslinger turns as soon as the player swipes (as opposed to the last Canada beta implementation, where the player had to release the swipe for the character to start running in the new direction), allowing for smooth, precise movement control. I'm also curious about the episodic nature of the game. Will episodes be added as updates to the original game, and if so, will they cost? Almost quantum.
Maybe because the game really needs a compass? I've never heard this rule before though...and if what you say is true, then the devs need to rectify it as the iPod Touch 5 is on par with iPhone 4S, if not slightly better.
yeah! ipod touch 5g = iphone 4s same A5 chip,512mb ram. man you can run this game on ipod touch editing the info.plist. change true for false in compas capabilities.
When you click 'buy now' a message bubble comes up and says "this game is not compatible with this device and requires a digital compass". This happens with Dodonpachi maximum, that avengers (IB type) game, and others. I agree with you about the ipod 5th being able to run these games... it makes no sense that they would block out this device. The 4th I understand, but not the 5th.
Sorry I don't know what you're talking about and I need more information... is there really a fix I can perform for this?
man you can run this game on ipod touch editing the info.plist. change true for false in compas capabilities.
simple, extract the info.plist from ipa file using winrar and editing whit plist editor for windows change true for false in compas capabilities.save changes and drag to the ipa.
No visual gamepad. The devs were stubborn to our persistent requests to get them added in. They called it Gameloft-style gamepad...LOL.
I am confused. I apologise for my ignorance, but that makes very little sense to me. Clearly I need to research all of that jargon and come back later.
