I just sold my iPhone 3G in advance of the 4th gen iPhone coming out.

Now my conundrum is that I really want an iPad but it seems redundant having both an iPhone and and iPad.

So I was thinking about getting a Blackberry to solve my push email requirements and an iPad for itouch device...

    Thoughts?

I have an iPhone+iPad combo and it doesn't feel redundant at all. The experience of browsing on Safari on the iPad is vastly improved because it's easier on the eyes and I don't have to scroll around as much as I do on the iPhone. If you want to get a BB then go for it. But if you can wait for the 2nd gen iPad then I suggest doing that because it's already rumored to have an OLED screen

I could never go back to a BB after owning an iPhone. It feels like a toy with the track ball.

I hate Blackberrys solely because of the track ball.

Well, plus the interface is weird..Everything seems so scattered.

I'd be shooting for a Pre Plus or a HTC Incredible.

YES! Well, in my case, it's cuz the Pre Plus has an app that allows you to share your 3G connection wirelessly. So wish there were a Hulu app. All I'd need is an unlimited data plan and I'd be set.

I believe the Pre Plus is $0.99 at Verizon right now with 2 year.

The Pre Plus keyboard sucks and the HTC incredible doesn't have a keyboard. There really is no comparison for the BB Keyboards when it comes to typing out lots of e-mail.

I guess one of the big factors is that I haven't actually touched a blackberry yet...

I'm liking the idea about the HTC incredible...
