I forgot to make a backup of the first version to verify if there was an iCloud save feature in that one. Although I just checked under my iCloud Storage files and there's nothing listed as Black Paradox's. I also checked iCloud folder locally (/var/mobile/Library/Mobile Documents, using a file browser) and found nothing. So, I'm guessing it wasn't there from the start.
Hahahaha this made me laugh. Black Paradox has some good content already, so I think it's fine if they take their time and work on additional content for later. Of course I'm already looking forward to updates; on the other hand I haven't even been able to update that other game yet for connectivity reasons.
It just got an update on Steam a few days ago... Really hoping that that same update hits iOS soon...
well, i am glad i bought it today at a discount. While it looks very fun, it’s what i suspected all along: i cant dodge bullet hells with my left thumb well enough when i am right handed. Danger coming from above below and behind is when i take damage and that happens way too often. Tbf, i am doing mostly ok at vertical shmups so maybe it’s just me and more skilled people will find it better. But i was desperate for a shmup/rpg for a long time, and seeing the discount i took the chance. By the way, great aesthetics and soundtrack (if it was one thumb vertical shmup i would have bought at day1)
I already tried it, it looks too weird becase a) every ship is oriented with tops and bottoms vertically and b) i still have to hold the other end of the screen to fire which is vertically awkward
New update R. O. C. K. S!!!!!!!! The new mode is pretty sweet.... nice to be able to earn currency a little quicker and play with the increased difficulty. And the new boss kind of surprised me. I don't know what exactly I was expecting, and it probably should have been that, but it wasn't. =P Really happy to be dumping some time into this again. =D
I’ve been playing this quite a bit after the update too. Managed to get to the 5th boss before dying and more than doubled my high score. Such a great shooter!
