Would be nice if the animals could be customizable and if they could do more things (e.g. eat, play, jump on the desk, sit on the cleaning robot...). Also why can't you have a dog and a cat at the same time? More customization would be lovely in general, the current one is a bit like simple levelling up. Anyway, very good presentation, polished, absolutely well-made!
Game Center Achievement Bug There seemed to have some serious achievement bug with this game... Some achievements unlocked in game does not appear in Game Center such as Twitchy McFinger and Impeccable Portfolio. Initially I suspect syncing issue with Game Center but I've been online all this game with constant connection with Game Center. Anyone experiencing it as well?
Rating + Feedback I agree with the TouchArcade rating of 5/5. One of my top criteria for a rating is playability and addictiveness. In short, am I looking forward to playing the game. To me, the feel of the game is similar to Disco Zoo, which I would also rate as 5/5. if I had one minor complaint, it is not so much the Anything spin, where sometimes you lose money. If you save up your RedBits, you can always cancel out the negative spin, but it teaches you not to hoard your bits, but rather to invest in them. Here is my minor gripe. After you play significantly, you learn about the whole "Reset" achievement, which means you have to go through this process again. It would be better to explain this at the beginning. Gamecenter doesn't allow you to have tiered achievements with different point values, like we are doing heavily, so we are not syncing all achievements at this time.
Love this game but am sadly now, at a time that I've become the owner of some Martian Spas, disenchanted with it. The reason? Leaderboards. They're hacked and despite being cleaned up, are still clearly hacked. They need to be unhackable else genuine players such as myself lose most of the incentive to continue playing. Can't hacked scores and counts be detected by reviewing a history of that player to ensure there's some kind of reasonable progression over time that backs that score or count up? Sadly I see little point in pushing further onwards right now... Though I WOULD like to own a Tardis, admittedly...
The only problem I'm having is that for the second day in a row my stats say that I've opened 25/25 of the hardbit boxes. The free spin didn't activate either. Is that a common issue? You can refuse to open the cards?
We have heard of some fringe cases where the day is not resetting properly and it seemed related to people having devices that were locking up and/or rebooted often. Have you had to reboot your device lately?
Yeah, I think the only foolproof solution would take quite a bit of effort and probably mean a custom implementation instead of using Gamecenter, which we may consider, but I think most people want more content right now. If you have Gamecenter friends, they show up at the top of the list and unless your friends are hacking, at least that still is fun to watch.
Not really sure about the tiered achievement note but will there be any workaround for this issue? Kinda strange for them not to show up on Game Center.
EDIT: Are you asking for us to report all the other achievements in the game to GameCenter, or do you mean the handful that we do aren't synced currently for you? Apple's GC servers were not working for the first 24 hours or so the game was live, so any achievements you unlocked during that time probably didn't get synced. I will look into fixing that in an update, if that's what you mean?
Thanks for the prompt reply. What I meant is exactly your latter part. Your explanation would explained why two of the achievements that I unlocked in the game were not updated in Game Center. I guess the only workaround here is to start replaying the game from scratch? Anyways it would be cool if those other achievement in the game are also in the Game Center.
This game has given me Tendonitis.... Just like track & field on the C64 did when I was a kid it's a great game though, and very addictive. The awards and tasks keeps you tapping. Thumbs up!
Yesterday, the game suddenly started crashing everytime it wanted me to watch a video. It worked in the morning, and in the afternoon, it didn't anymore. It chrashes to the homescreen and when I open it again, I still see the prompt that lets me watch the video. But it crashes every time I tap on it. When I skip the video, it's the same situation with the next one.
Yes. By a massive margin. Video ads > static full screen interstitials >>> Banner ads. It's all about which is more likely to get a click through by the person seeing them. Video appeals more than full screen static which appeals more than a tiny banner ad. There's a reason you basically see everyone trying to incentivize video ads.
I've completely stopped getting any gems today. I know it's random but I've been playing on and off for four hours without a single one. Also I thought we got a daily free spin at the casino and that hasn't happened today either
