Bitcoin Billionaire Android and Updates Hey everyone! Just a couple notes about Bitcoin developments. We/FizzPow is working on bug fixes for all the video issues and other items that have come up since launch. That should be out in the next 4-5 weeks. In the meantime anyone who has an Android device or if you have friends who have been super jealous of your tapping action, Bitcoin will be hitting Google Play this Thursday!
Crap, I think my game glitched. I made it to BM25 and reset and the reset 3 times achievement went to tier 1/3. Then I made it to BM25 again in my 2nd game just now, reset, but it still says tier 1/3. It looks like the 2nd reset did not get accounted for towards the achievement. Is this a bug? When I look at my stats, it says game resets: 2, and I know I was at BM25 before I reset the 2nd time.
The next tier doesn't start until you hit 3 resets at v.25.0. The first unlocks at 1, and then it tells you what the next one is, which is 3. Last one is at 5.
I poured 19 cumulative hours into this game. Bought 100 of everything. Reset at level 25. App closed and I lost all achievements & bonuses. Then, I played for 26 cumulative hours. Bought the cat. Upgraded every investment to level 5. Was working on upgrading beyond on the time machines. Game closed. Lost all investments but weirdly gained the first reset bonus. Now, the cat I bought is walking around (with no actual bonus attached), I have no permanent achievement bonuses actually having an impact (despite the ones I finished showing up as completed in the menu), and my current goal is to tap 542,000 times. Also, I'm one of the 0.5% of 5s users for which the videos cause crashes so there is no option to skip any of the negative choices that are presented on the cards. These aren't complaints, just facts. Since I'm obviously going to keep playing, my takeaway is that I'm broken as a person.
Really sorry to hear about your luck. FWIW, the video issue you can fix yourself if you are up for it using a tool like iFunbox or iExplorer to delete the vungle files. The other issues have to do with rare save file corruption issues which we are working on some things to help with and eventually will have a cloud save backup as well.
Wow! I wasn't expecting a response from the developer. Your games are awesome! I do appreciate you supporting your game and offering fixes. I really was not complaining. It's a game about sitting and mining bitcoins where the actual process of resource management is the enjoyable part. I am totally good waiting for a future update instead of digging around using ifunbox. The glitches just add more randomized challenge to the game. It's not intentional but it makes it rogue-like. Every time I open it, I am continually surprised by which direction my progress has decided to go
I noticed that in the 3-card minigame, sometimes all 3 cards to pick from will have negative results. That doesn't seem right to me. I'd expect one of them to be a good one. Otherwise, what's the point? Is this a bug?
BTW, I'm loving this new game Highrise Heroes. I saw the message about it while playing Bitcoin and downloaded it. It's a fun game. Any chance you guys will be bringing it to Android as well?
I agree it's a great game. You'd have to ask the dev Fallen Tree Games or Noodlecake, not sure how much they are monitoring this thread still.
Seems to be a persistent problem today watching videos. I choose to watch a video and the screen turns all black with just a little volume icon in the lower right corner. No video plays and then I end up losing whatever it is I would have gained by watching the video.
