The in store purchase worked for me. It's not 3 different packs. Its one pack...3 songs. It's misleading how they have it listed. Also... even though touch controls are easier now...it takes away how the game is supposed to be played. Tilt recreates the original Wii game perfectly. You need to just practice.
I just played the first level of the new level pack and I am disappointed. The level felt half arsed, it used visuals from Transition and just seemed sparse, repetitive, and boring.
And the bossis EXACTLY the same Yes, the IAP levels are a bit lame compared to the original ones. Lots of repetitions...
I haven't played them yet, but it dont expect much. It seems like an lazy money making ploy by namco.
I've become very suspicious of new games like this that have iPad versions out and yet don't support Retina. Retina games scaled up on the iPad look almost as good as the native versions. I think they don't want to cannibalize their iPad buyers. Square Enix waited a couple weeks after their iPad version of Chaos Rings was released before updating their game to Retina. I'm willing to bet we see a Retina update within the next couple of weeks or month. iPhone 3G - 320x480, 163ppi iPhone 4 - 960x640, 326ppi iPad - 1024x768, 163ppi
Depends on your preference. Personally, I went out on a limb and bought, and have been enjoying it a lot. Hell, I haven't cleared the 2nd level yet. In the end, [if] I ever beat the 3rd level, I may buy the extra pack. The game is fun in my opinion, its like a sensory overload of awesomesauce. Besides, is $2 really gonna hurt you that bad?
It's not like rock band or something its more than 3 songs each song has levels and boss battles it not fair to to call it 3 songs it more like three worlds with levels like in Mario
Got it along with spider. I didn't want to regret them lol, it's okay for now. Just in the start few minutes so not much action going on. Now I bought too much stuff this week!!
