iPad BIT.TRIP BEAT - by Namco

I managed to play one game with a friend (online, not local), and right after the first section it said game over. Weird. And now we just get "Waiting for player" every time. Anyone have better luck?

 

Man, this game is hard. Having trouble beating the first level. I may HAVE to buy the level packs just for variety! Great game though. Hope BIT TRIP RUNNER comes out for the iPhone.

 

Looks great, but I won't buy it right now. My 4G Touch hasn't arrived yet..

 

Same here I can't clear the first level either lol, I always die at the same part when there's like 6+ dots that swing in a straight line, gets me every time.

 

Level 1 is a chill ride compared to the second

 

Lol I believe it. I just wish there were checkpoints or something so I could practice that particular part.

Game is great so far. Lovin' the music definitely. Reminds me of Rez in a way.

Touch controls do block the screen a little bit, but the levels are so long if you lift your finger for a second, then your paddle moves when you place it back down.

 

Controls are easy. Turn off tilt and keep your finger on the right side of the screen, rather than the left.

 

I've been using it on the right side. The left side you'd block your paddle.

 

how many levels?

 

3 levels each lasting around 15 mins. This ma seem to few but the game will take hours to complete and most people will want to replay levels over and over.

 

Just got the level pack. It's £1.19 (UK here ) for all 3 levels. The 3rd one called supergod is insane!

 

This game is awesome. I didn't realize how frickin good it is. Buying all level packs.

 

This game is intense when you get ten minutes into a level and are on mega mode and shit in the background is freaking out and you can't tell what's what and the music is blasting in your headphones and you can't stop laughing hysterically because you are on sensory overload you can somehow find time to think how this thread started and say to yourself oh that's why you need 3gen and up hardware.

 

How many in-app levels we can buy, 3 in total (REMIX.ID, REMIX.EGO and REMIX.SUPER-EGO) or 9 in total (each one with 3 levels inside)

 

Haha I know right, after I switched to touch controls I was able to beat Level 1, then when I got to Level 2 and the background changed to like lava I was like whaaaaaaat lol.

 

You pay 1.99 for the in game pack and you get these 3 songs (REMIX.ID, REMIX.EGO and REMIX.SUPER-EGO)

 

People have been saying the packs don't work. Is it working for anybody?

 

It is worth it?

 

Well it's basically more of the same (and if you like the game already) I'm sure it's worth an additional 3 songs. Just A LOT HARDER
