OK, now you obviously haven't played the game so let me help my argument. You control a 'pong'-esque bat, that has to bounce back squares that go in time with the music. Many of these can be on the screen at once, and all coincide with the music. In the background there are lots of flashing squares and crazy visuals. If there is ANY frame rate issues, the game is virtually impossible to enjoy. So although it does not have the intensity of these games, because it does have quite a lot going on means on older devices there will be a few frame rate issues and these will dampen the experience tenfold.
I agree, seeing as the game requires pinpoint accuracy, if you are using either control method you're gonna get a much harder job if the frame rate is choppy. Anyway, this game is amazing, I played it on my friend's Wii and it is very addictive! Does anyone know why it's only $2 though, sale I guess... The developer told me it was going to be $5 though... Not that I'm complaining obviously!
Get this quickly when it's out in your country as there's been a pricing mistake - meant to be $4.99 yet is $1.99!
So is there any chance of this game being modified for 2G Touch, because if so I'd get it tonight while the pricing is wrong.
They said somewhere they were going to have support for it. I think on Pocketgamer. [EDIT] in the comments they said it'll be coming soon.
Am I the only person who thinks this cannot be anything but fake? For one, why would the developer of the game call himself 'BIT TRIPPER' when they would themselves have made the game, not just played it? Also, the game's Twitter feed also seems to suggest that the team tried and failed to make it work on the older devices... So I don't reccomend getting your hopes up with this statement...
Wish there was some concrete confirmation with the Devs that support for older devices was coming. I'd also like to take advantage of the $1.99 price if it's a mistake.
makes sense, this is namco 1.99 is way to cheap , 4.99 sounds about right.... hopefully in usa it will stay 1.99 for launch tonight so i can grab it...unless namco wants to hold us release for a week like they normally enjoy doing...
It's out in the US tonight at 11, so that should give everyone an hour to download it. If you wait until midnight your iDevice turns into a pumpkin. Don't take my word on the midnight thing, I'm assuming this based on apps with restricted features being pulled exactly at midnight.
right a pumpkin....there has been many games from namco/konami/capcom that were supposed to come out at 11pm usa as they were out in NZ first and it didnt happen for a week, so i will not hold my breath on this one...::coughs castlevania puzzle comes to mind::
