Am I the only one who has a hard time controlling this game on the iPad (HD version)? The iPad is to big to use tilt control and you can't really touch the paddle because its to close to the edge so you have to control it on the other side trying to avoid blocking the view. This game seems to be made for lefties.
Well when I use touch controls I use my right thumb on the right side of the screen. it works for me I'm on iphone4 and have no issue covering up too much of the screen. I can't imagine you would cover too much on IPad unless your hands are in Guinness. Or the lay out is inverted on iPad (beats coming left to right)?
Haha! I'm using tilt mostly to be fair. I've only played it for 10 minutes in total, maybe I'm just expecting too much too soon. Sorry for not playing Multiplayer with you last night tittysquisher, I was sleeping!
how does multiplayer work exactly? do you need gamecenter or can you just connect to someone randomly?
Although Youtube is temporarily in "read-only" mode, my new video of a 3.18 million point run of Descent using tilt controls on an iPod Touch should be available shortly. The score is 3 times that of the previous million point video that I thought was a good score at the time (it wasn't); this video shows the score just made #5 all-time in the world while online Game Center. For what it's worth, it came within 100k of Bling Dammlings current game center score (3,276,000 vs. my 3,176,572), although my scores in the other two bundled Bit.trip levels don't come close. edit: Here it is, 3.176 million:
I love this! I'm sorry, I'm helplessly addicted to this game. It's awesome!! Wish all the other "pong-likes" were this fun, personally. Course, I'm a sucker for Namco.
Has anyone had a problem with the Ambidextrous achievement unlocking? It unlocked for me on the iPad version, but not on the phone version in GameCenter. I've tried logging out of GC and deleting then reinstalling B.TB, but no luck. Do you actually have to beat a level using both control methods, or just play with both? Because I don't think I actually beat a level on the iPad with Tilt when it unlocked.
Don't you think that the Easy mode shares the same leaderboard as the normal difficulty? Or isn't an easy score uploaded?
