Count me in for wanting more tracks as well. I love the music in this. In fact, I've been playing the game a lot today and I'm liking it more all the time. It's really an awesome game, extremely hectic and fun.
Just bought it, mostly because its so simple and the music seemed enjoyable Cheap too Gunna play some later when i'm at work
Also would love more unlockable tracks! A new game mode would be awesome as well, something like a chaotic mode where you are constantly thrown nothing but yellow and red meteors and lasers.
once I have some time to start working on Bit Pilot again, there are definitely some update plans (more tracks/more modes) on the way eventually
After reading this thread I wanted to try Unify as well, but it keeps crashing on me. Is this just a symptom of the "lite" version or are there others having problems with the full one. I'm on a 2G iPod Touch with latest firmware.
I have the same specs and I've had no problems running it. It sucks you can't get the lite working, but basically, I describe it as super Tetris--way more fun and freeform, better controls, and way more stylish with terrific music. If that sounds good to you and you're not using blood money to pay for it, you should just get it.
2nd Gen iPod Touch here - I've never had any crashes with the lite or the full version of Unify. Try rebooting, removing/reinstalling the app. (Excellent game, BTW - As good as the music is in Bit Pilot, I should be picking it up...)
I think it's cool that they are in this game and they are pretty nice. I've got one of them setup as my wallpaper now. Another thing I'd like to see as an unlockable in a game, though I don't know if OpenFeint supports it, is unlockable gamer pics. It would cool to be able to unlock a Bit Pilot Gamer Pic that you can only get by getting the achievement. In any case, having the wallpapers as unlockables is really a great idea. Also count me in for more unlockable music tracks. The music in this game is awesome and I want more! Also I think I'll buy Unify. You folks have convinced me, and I love Bit Pilot so much so I'm happy to give stfj more money!
They're pretty neat, I have the first one setup right now. I like how you don't really have to earn an achievement to unlock them, they just become unlocked as you keep playing
I love how things get unlocked in the game, and that you don't have to get achievements to unlock things that are essential to gameplay, such as in Tilt to Live. You can enjoy the game right out of the gate to the fullest, yet get nice rewards for playing.
It's VERY addictive (I'm playing this more than Tilt to Live at the moment, but that will probably change with the next TTL update )... I'm number 25 in easy mode and 14 in normal mode (correct me if I'm wrong xD). Sometimes normal feels a BIT unfair to me (three or four lasers chasing me into a corner and instant killing me without me being able to do anything against it [really, I tried so hard to get through these lasers but they were too close to each other] ? umm, ok..). Still, the gameplay is cool, the difficulty corve is ok, the music totally fits the game. It's a must-have!
Tilt to Live is already playable at the beginning. The more weapons, the more complicated the gameplay. This adds a kind of learning-time to the game (until you unlock the weapons). Bit Pilot doesn't need this, because there's no "Weapons". Only Meteors and Pills I like both games (and won't delete either one from my iPhone in the next few... years? xD)
x2, definitely keeping both on my phone IMO, Tilt To Live is more hectic than Bit Pilot, and I feel like I can maneuver more precise in Tilt To Live than I can in Bit Pilot. And the achievement in TLT were pretty easy to get, I unlocked all the weapons in the first few games of playing. These two games seem completely different from each other tho, I don't think I can pick one over the other. Well.. off to play bit pilot and tilt to live
I love the way unlocks work, too. I like the first unlockable wallpaper a lot, but the second one is terrific.
TTL is certainly playable...I should have said the unlocked content is essential for high scores, not gameplay. Anyway, I prefer Bit Pilot. Both are good though.
Randomly decided to play this tonight, beat my old school by around 3k. Now I'm 93 in the universe [easy] yay Lol
8-bit music feeds my soul. AM SO TEMPTED. Already have Tilt to Live. I'm not sure both can coexist on one Device.
