Tbh, it's a great game- mechanically, but it's too dark for me. The atmosphere is unsettling. Great gameplay, though, but deleted cus it's creepy.

Kind of agree man. Why do we buy stuff if we all know there is a good chance it will be free soonish.

That's unexpected, I might just give this a try to see how creepy it is :D though the general consensus seems to be the first one is better?

Just bought this a few days ago, and now it's FREE, no worries as long as it's not going down a freemium route, there's a gem of a game in there just gasping to get out! That's why I bought it I have every faith in the Dev that he will take care of this game with updates, I.e add a virtual stick, and sort the controls out a bit, and give the game as good a polish as the original.

At least it was a few weeks. The ones that get me are ones that release the normal time of the week then by weekend free or something.

Is there a virtual stick control scheme in the first game? It's been a while since I last played a good gam with virtual stick, I might wait for the dev to update this game with that feature if he's planning to :)

I'm sorry. By creepy, I meant demonic. I should have known better judging by the app icon. Why are there so many games involving magic and infusing yourself with demons?

I've found, not a bug as such, but an extremely broken aspect of the game. After defeating the soul collector (?) I managed to die somehow at the same time or just after defeating him, causing me to lose my blue heart. Upon trying to reclaim it I discovered much to my horror that once a boss is defeated there's no way to re-enter the dungeon :( meaning my spare life is gone forever :(
Guess it's hardcore mode from now one huh

I really do enjoy this game. I think it's better then the first. It just needs to have some code updates. I really really really like it actually. It just drives me nuts that it has bugs, lots of bugs. Another thing that keeps happening is it will load up after I stopped playing for a bit and my guy will be at level 1, have no gear and all stats reset BUT the dungeons are beat that I beat, if I lost my soul last game it's gone with this half reset. ALL MY BLACK COINS ARE GONE except for 13. Did the dev make this game free because of the bugs? I paid for it too. I can see why people but premium games on a watch list and wait for them....

This is another reason why we have freemium lol. Another thing that has happened to me a couple times is Ill suddenly lose a app out of my purchased list. For example I bought Majesty and It's expansion from HeroCraft. I bought a new tablet and went to install and it said I had to buy them again. I sent in an email to the devs and I got an automated response from Helga something and then they ignored me from there on after. This was on Google Play and was the android version obviously. I have seen lots of cool looking games pop up (warhammer, strategy and tactics) but I'll never buy another game from HeroCraft.

Wow I derailed my post. I do apologize. Felt good to talk about my molestation by HeroCraft though. Thanks guys. Where do I put my money for therapy?

EDIT: btw where did the dev for this bit dungeon game go? I was enjoying his conversation on here :). Cause even with the bugs I love this game

When I start the game I'm blue with no items and no way to attack anything. What am I supposed to do?

There should be a cave or hollow tree near the campfire, inside you will find weapons (tap twice to pick up) also tap on the blue girl to get an extra life.

Why does it really matter to be perfectly honest?

I'm aware that as a writer & an artist, things are not put into an artistic expression for no reason. There is always some meaning behind it, and some form of connection to the creator. My problem is, why is dealing with dark things shown as being entertainment?

Not spooky as in it scares me, spooky as in its very unsettling. I guess you're a person who is pretty much open to anything, and you're basically an open door.

You're reading to much into it man. It makes for a good part of the story. Nothing more, nothing less.

Maybe they just thought the games central theme, a harder dungeon crawler like game, fit a demonic kind of theme more? I don't really see the problem still...

Hey hey guys everyone is allowed to have their own opinion. If the feller there doesn't like it because of the unsettling demon images that's perfectly fine. On the same token he has to leave the people who think it's just for show alone. Everyone is entitled to their ow opinion. Don't play it if you don't like the theme. :D all good. I really doubt the devil is trying to get to youths though a buggy game on the AppStore. Not when he has all that music to use. Course I guess some people belive he is trying to use everything. Some people also belive that we are already in the thousands years where the devil will be released into the world according to revelations.

Look at this in a religious stand point. Everything used in this game, and a bunch of other games dealing with magic, use actual images, words, and situations taken from these religions. Now it's weird to me that a bunch of people would all use the same religious material to make their games. If I went out and made games and stuff them with Christian imagery, I would probably get told off for shoving religion down people's throats. This is a great game, at its core, the mechanics are all there. I enjoyed the Roguelike elements for my short play through, but there wasn't much there to keep me going, especially with the vibe it gave.
