Keep an eye out for cracks in the wall. I've found some inside dungeons too.

Always watching for the cracks :D. Best I've got is red and purple. I had a red level 30 item that was way better then a level 35 item. The numbers on the item itself didn't look like it should be but it was. Also, on weapons I'm guessing the stat it says on the bottom is the one that gets advanced by you using it? Does it multiply the flavour text? Hmmmm I love the loot but I wish it was more unique Hehheh. There is set bonuses too. You get the helmet of the cross, the plate of the cross and the boots of the cross you get +16 defence and +16 superproc or something like that. The first bit dungeon had those set bonuses and it really rigged up the game sometimes haha

Nope, it didn't. The game was fully updated, and the game was saving like it should have been. After not playing for a few hours, I came back in and it loaded me where I was supposed to be, but at level 1 with no gear. Pre-patch, the game wouldn't save at all. Trust me, I'd been waiting for the patch to actually play. This was a different but all together.

I've been playing some of this after buying it yesterday and I have to say I enjoyed the first game more. There was a map so you knew where you were going as where your been and I'm sure there was more loot drops. I do like the fact it can be played in portrait now but I'd still like a map in the corner of the screen.

Honestly after 1 run you'll have pretty much memorised the map. I can do a new game +++ run in like 35-40 minutes. It's not random and all the dungeons do vary however after once or twice you know exactly how their layed out.

Yeah I'll keep at it anyway. Might go old school and get a pen and paper for a map :D

Even though no where in the game tells you this but you still have to click on a campfire to save. At least on mine. If I stop playing and use my phone for the day (the game closes in the background) I always revert to whatever was the last time I clicked a campfire. If I have never clicked a campfire then it goes back to the beginning of the game. So I hope you are clicking the little fires here and there!

Oh. The map is easily remembered after a few times. Hmmm maybe the dev will randomize it. It would be easy to do in theory. Just randomiE the areas (like mix te rooms up for grief forest etc, keep the same area type with the same area type). And then just randomize where the areas are in conjunction with each other. To make sure you have doors that line up have a weighted system where only certain areas can be certain places. Maybe once he has the bugs all ironed out he will do this. I really like the game. I've spent hours on it. I just an not looking forward to getting bored of it. Using that system of randomizing would make a fun small difference. :D. As it is I love it. I'm going to play it right now instead of doing my work. Why look through resumes when I can look for wall cracks. (where's the doctor when you need him? He knows about wall cracks)

Edit: typed on my iPhone, sorry bout the grammar and messed up words. My thumb takes up four letters at a time.

I picked this up yesterday as well, but wow, these controls are awful. I don't know if I can get used to it. Give me a d-pad please.

I'm was on New Game x7 or more (stopped counting) and I couldn't stop playing. I had an insane set up and I was nigh impossible to kill whilst dishing out 6k crits every single hit. I had two death strike items that did 16k dmg every other hit (Spear + Shield)

Notice how it's all past tense? It's because I started the game to only discover everything had been reset for some reason. LAME.

That being said I enjoyed the hell out of the game and I'll keep it around and let it be fixed and updated at which point I'll do it all again!

    Oh yea, some tips;

    1. Always grab the constitution orbs. As you progress into multiple new game + the enemies hit much harder.

    2. Forget Ranged.

    3. Go either Spear/Sword/Shield or Double Handed Axe

    4. After about 60 crit don't bother stacking anymore as you hit fast enough that you activate it almost always.

    5. Start stacking as much Strength/HP as you can.

    6. DON'T waste money on the 300 coin chests, find the 32 coin chests and open up all 4. You're more likely to find something very useful and more for your current level.

This happened to me too. Instead of the game resetting the save (deleting it or whatever). It should at least give you a chance to save it. Even if it's keep the corrupt save set aside to send the dev lol. I know that's stupid sounding but at the drop of the hat it seems it can reset you. It was working great, it always started me at a campfire and I always made sure I saved there. This time started off with nothing even my black coins(which don't collect fast) were all gone. Where did the dev go? He was lurking around....I really like this game but I don't think I'm going to put more effort into it. Which is sad because I really like it. Stop putting time into the online mode when the offline mode is screwed up boyo

Well, well! Looks like I can transfer saves between the PC AND iOS versions via iFunbox! This could be useful.

It's free just after a week or two after release. No wonder people stoped buying things.

I haven't played the first game, do I need to know anything before playing this one? For people who have played both, which game do you think is better?

Personally I have both and prefer the first one. This is still decent but I liked the small maps and randomness of the first game.

Edit. I just played more of this and ended up deleting it and re downloading the first game. I loved the loot and maps from the first game. You always knew where you needed to go which was good. I'm not liking the big map of this game I'm wandering around not knowing where to go.
