So his level scales up to your dungeon level ? Didn't know that as I beat him only twice around Lv 30 and both times was a tough fight Edit :seems logical though as all enemies toughness scale to dungeon Lv
What's the point of going into the soul world? Why bother? Just to make it more interesting, when the other enemies are easy to defeat? Of course, if he gives you a power boost, that might make the main dungeon even easier, right? Does the game ever get more challenging? I feel right now that I could play forever without coming close to dying.
From my experience when you go to the soul world and beat the collector the overall difficulty spikes more than simply beating normal levels. For example as I beat the standard levels without changing equipment each new level normally only adds 1 to the amount of damage I received from monsters in the previous level, but I just beat the soul collector and didn't change equipment and I went from recieving 17 damage before beating him to 45 the level after. This was without changing any equipment.
Anyone suffer the bug when i clear the enemy and it was 1 enemy left, then my character freeze, can cast spell but cant move:/ I got to force close and start over the dungeon, it quite annoying
I think every time you beat him the difficulty spikes up. But he is definitely hard if you try early on. I fought him on floor 16 and smoked him though. Are you just standing still attacking him? If you keep running through him its easy. Just don't do it if he is on fire or he is doing the counter stomp thing.
I did stand still and try to dish out as much damage as I can first time I fought him.After he went on fire and used stomp, I did learn my lesson and used chaos magic by circling him which finished fight without me taking any more damage.Second time I beat him much easier with that +usual hit and run tactic.
Yes, a few of us have had that bug. Thankfully the dev has said that it should be fixed in the next update.
Hehe...yeah, about 20 minutes ago I noticed the heart icon, so I pressed it (damn ios games never have any instructions). Didn't know why the dungeon changed to pale blue. I was thinking, that's one hell of a step up in difficulty when I ran into the boss. At least I got another life, which confused me.
A bug? I'm sure i found a bug. 1. Transfer into the soul world from save room (the room right next to the boss room) 2. Use save at the soul world save room 3. Die at Soul collector room. Voila! Now you are forever trapped in the soul world: 1. Soul world became similar to another dungeon: containers, spirits as monsters, closed doors, door keys, chestdrops. 2. You will get the key everytime after room clear (not once per room), so you can stack keys. 3. After beating the Soul collector your next dungeon will be soul world forever.
anyone else unable to get the achiev for killing 25 ghosts? I just farmed at least 40 and it's not popping
I think it probably will get widescreen support. Kinto probably just has other priorities. Also did anybody else make the terrible mistake of going to your wife after beating the soul collector? And it definitely feels like aside from the soul collector the rest of the game is a bit easy for a hardcore gamer. A hard mode being unlocked after getting to your wife would be pretty awesome.
Right on... hope so... though it's not that big of a deal. I JUST got a new iphone... so I've been playing on my iPad until yesterday... Also agree that a hard mode after getting to your wife would be awesome. =oD
I can't figure out how to get out of the first room lol. Doesn't seem to have any instructions or even a menu.
you need to grab the sword, key and potion and move to the gate on the top the instructions are in the app description
