Thanks to Kinto Games for this update. Dragging down items is a lot smoother on small screen. What is this "New World" DLC? Is iPhone/iPod 5G optimization still in the works? I think we're lucky to get a Universal build so don't want to "look a gift horse in the mouth" but if optimization is realistic/easy that would be nice.
In kinto Facebook the info pf the dlc us a new type of armor dont know what else for the moment is goint to cost 1$ no problem for my part
Level 17 at the moment and don't feel any progress. Enemies don't even get a lot harder somehow. I just breeze from world to world and since I a) will always start in the world I die in, and b) since there is no high score or goal (I think), I more and more miss the motivation for going on.
Nasty bug with new version on iPhone 5 6.1 , when you beat a room with the choice of plus attack/crit/health, the three choices are popping up before the last enemy is killed and your character becomes stuck when this happens you can't select any of the three or move at all, only way out is to close the app and start the level over again....
WOOHOO!!! Dunno why it took me to so long to start this one up - I bought it back when it was iPad only, but never really got a chance to get into it. Then last night - this one kept me up half the night. =oD The DLC sounds sweet! I can't wait for it! Gotta love when games are 'properly' supported after release. Makes ya love the AppStore even more.
I like the update. Dragging chests to inventory seemed weird at first, but soon becomes apparent that its much better. I hadn't played in a while. The game seems a more challenging than I remember, though I wouldn't mind a further bump in difficulty. Also definitely needs high scores/leader boards of some sort, but it is a fun game.
Kinto, any chance you'll change the uppercase B in Bit Dungeon (on our devices) to match the (proper) App Store name (bit Dungeon)?
The goal is to see how deep you can go. Eventually things start hitting hard enough to wreck you pretty fast. You will only start back on the same level if you have a soul. Once its used and you don't beat the two headed guy again, you go back to 1. There are leader boards seeing how many levels you can get. The highest non cheat one I saw was 68. Also collecting gear sets gets to be kind of fun. If you have full boots, armor, and helm you get a set bonus. I have only had two pieces of green gear drop the entire time I am playing. But I have already collected full grey, blue, gold, and purple. Trying for red and green each play through.
Oh, c'mon now... Clearly the number one spot on the leader board is a fabricated score. I, however, currently sit at the number two position, a lowest dungeon level of 165, and I can unequivocally say that it is a well-earned score; lotsa time went into it. Ironically, I kinda killed myself (phrasing?) on purpose: knowing I couldn't get the number one spot, I lost interest, and secondly, I wanted to begin another run utilizing a different build/new strategy. Conspiracy theory much?
After killing soul collector at Lv 38, I decided to pick up dimensional sword just because it looked cool.Big mistake- never pick up items just on basis they look cool , damage is only thing that matters.
@kinto Sorry haven't been able to reproduce yet...it happened almost every time in that one instance...but the few Games I've played since I have not encountered the same bug..
I've had this bug happen also. It only froze me once, all the other times the upgrade appears but there is still one enemy left to kill. If I encounter it more ill try to help detail it for you also.
Hate to junp in a thread so late (who am I kidding, I do it all the time!), but I have 2 quick questions: 1)Is the gameplay real-time or turn-based? 2)Is this a roguelike or are the maps and monster locations pre-determined? Thanks.
