I didn't see a Game Center or leaderboard link. Not to be picky but any chance in a future update adding difficulty levels? Survival mode could ramp up a little faster. The option to pull blocks down yourself is really cool. saiato Member Sep 28, 2015 10 0 0 Indie game developer Los Angeles http://www.gregbatha.com #8 saiato, Nov 14, 2015 My score is 40,735. Thanks for bringing this up. You can see the leaderboard by opening game center and selecting bit bit blocks from your list of games. I forgot to add a link from within the app so I'll include that in the next update. I wasn't planning on adding difficulty levels for survival since it's important that everyone's scores are on the same metric. The idea is that you can control the difficulty in the early game by pulling down more blocks as you want them. Advanced players will also spend the early game focusing on building up bigger blocks to cash in for more points at later levels. It's very inspired by Tetris in this sense. Don't let the cute look fool you. I am still working on beating that high score! grgg New Member May 8, 2012 3 0 1 los angeles #12 grgg, Nov 19, 2015 I played some two player of bit bit with my girlfriend while on a long plane ride. It kept us entertained for quite a while. Since then I've played quite a few games of survival, I'm still no where close to the top of the leaderboard though. I'm curious as to how the scoring works in survival. Should I be going for bigger blocks or smaller ones faster or blocks that launch other blocks that I haven't yet sent flying? saiato Member Sep 28, 2015 10 0 0 Indie game developer Los Angeles http://www.gregbatha.com #13 saiato, Nov 19, 2015 Bigger blocks are definitely worth more! A good strategy is to keep building a single large block at the bottom and only get rid of it when you absolutely need to. There's also a level multiplier, so blocks are worth more points as you level up. The actual math for how points work is ((blockWidth*blockHeight)^2)*(1+((level-1)*0.5)). So if you have a 3x3 block, it's worth 81 points (9^2) and if you're on level 4 then the level multiplier is 2.5. So saving a huge block and sending it off at a higher level will net you more points grgg New Member May 8, 2012 3 0 1 los angeles #14 grgg, Nov 20, 2015 Awesome, thanks for the info!
