I'm a huge basketball fan, so I made the basketball game I've always wanted on my iPhone. My favorite part is the coach mode, where you play through the preseason, regular season, conference tourney, and national championship, while managing your team, watching fatigue, and recruiting new players for the next season to try to build a dynasty! Let me know if you have any questions! Here's a features breakdown of bit ballers: Call the shots in rapid-fire gameplay perfect for playing on-the-go. 72 teams across 12 college hoops conferences Change up your offense on the fly – will you rain down threes or dominate the paint? Cut down the nets in a full-featured Coach mode. If you want to win the tourney, prove it on and off the court! Recruit star players to build a dangerous lineup and manage your rotation to limit player fatigue as the season progresses. Develop players into senior stars, or gamble on one-and-dones who might go pro after one season! Avoid sanctions and keep the athletic directors happy... or risk getting fired! No ads or in-app purchases – buy once for $3.99! Shot Caller likes this. Here's what's new, including a couple highly requested features: Simulation: Simulate Coach Mode games! After you start the game, tap the 'Sim' button on the left of the screen. Pause: A pause button has been added! Rank and Board Mood Balance: Coach Mode rankings and Board Mood has been tweaked to make it slightly less punishing! Banners! Also new to Coach Mode -- if you manage to win a conference or national tournament, or make it to the national semifinals, your team will hang a banner to commemorate your accomplishment! This update also contains some graphical tweaks and minor fixes including, hopefully, a fix for the iPhone X display glitch mentioned by @RedDevil. I wrote a review for this game on the App Store, so I’m just gonna copy and paste it here. I think this has real potential to be great and addicting. There is a good base so far but it needs more. Much more. I rated it 5 because I want this game to do well with hopefully big updates in the near future. Here is what I think this game needs: 1) Bigger Roster and 5 on 5: I love recruitment/scouting in sports games. I like the concept here of recruiting through shady or fair ways here. But we need to be able to recruit more players than just 4 currently. We also need to make the games 5 on 5 instead of 3 on 3. Makes it feel more realistic and can even make it more challenging to pick and choose the few good recruits. 2) Different teams need to be good/bad every season: One disappointing thing I found out after playing 3/4 seasons of coach mode is that the other teams will always have the same exact players with the same exact capabilities. Which makes the same teams always good or always bad. Los Angeles for example (aka UCLA) always has the same 5 star players and Colorado always has a bunch of 3/2 star players every season. That’s not realistic nor is it fun to know that every team is always the same every season besides your own. Fix this where possibly every team is different every year. Make it more unpredictable. 3) Team/Individual Stat Leaders and Standings: Also a must! Being able to track the best players on your team statistically as well as the other teams. Standings of course to see where you and the other teams are in the league. I’m sure you have been requested this idea a lot already. 4) Descriptions About A Player’s Talent: Something that I feel is unclear is the player’s skills in the game. What’s the difference between 3 point threat and sharpshooter? Especially if they are both 5 or 4 stars? Which one is the better shooter? Which one is the better scorer inside the paint? And what does a physical player mean? What is he good at skills wise? Can we get attribute stats to reveal this possibly? 5) Defensive Options In-Game: Currently, there are none. On offense, we can choose between playing inside, outside, or a mix of both. We should have similar options for defense as well. Playing Man defense (good against perimeter players especially if you have 3 and D or defender players), Zone defense (good against players that like to play inside more, especially if you have protector or physical players), or a mix of both. This feature would be great to strategize before games against teams that have certain type of players, instead of just watching them drop 3s on you every possession and there is nothing you can do about it. 6) Naming Our Players and Jersey Numbers: Always a fun feature in any sports game with a franchise mode. Have us able to change the name of our players and give them jersey numbers. Makes us feel more attached to our players. 7) Have A 1st Half and 2nd Half: Currently, there is just one half in regulation and if there is a tie, then overtime. If not, game is over. Again, for more realism, just add in a 2nd half. It will obviously increase the scoring per game numbers but that’s the point. You don’t see 5 star talents in college only average 5 points or so per game do you? This is what I thought of so far. I think you have a potentially great game here. It just needs more basic features to make the experience in coach mode much more enjoyable and replay-able. I really hope you continue to work on updates for this game.
