That's because all sprites and tiles are 1/4 the resolution of Traps. Regarding game duration... Last time I completed the game, just prior to release, I managed to complete it at 100% in just over 3 hours, but I also know where every secret is hidden. To get 100% you have to find all treasures, all maps, all upgrades (stamina, oxygen, backpack) and all weapons / tools.
