Huh? I'm not aware of any tweak which is able to pair an Xbox360 Controller to an iDevice. Only Bluethooth controllers like the ones for PS3/4 are working as far as I know.
Do you think steel's stratus controller is more portable? Is moga power really worth more than 4 times the price of traditional xbox controller with a much lower build quality? For 100$ you can buy a nice raedon r7 260 a graphic card capable of ps4/xbox one quality graphics.Or you can buy 'ton' of games like tlou, infinite, gta 5 and many more which are going to give you potentially 1000's of hours of gameplay. Portablility doesn't excuse poor value for money,Perhaps if it was just as good as 360 controller in terms of responsiveness and build quality it would be worth the price,Currently it's pretty useless.
I don't give a crap about "for $100 you could get X". I want a portable controller I can take around that's of good build. The Stratus isn't a great example, as it's not a great controller; we don't have a good, small controller. If you think taking around a bulky, space-eating gamepad is good, fine. At least the stratus is smaller than my phone.
God no, the original Moga Pro for £30 was good, the newer releases are shockingly overpriced. Hopefully the new iOS Controller will be priced around the same as the Moga Pro.

Impossible...this game is going to be shown for sure to iPhone 6 presentation. I don't think that will run well on iPhone 5/5s
Oh yeah. I hope this is accurate. This is going to be so awesome. And I've only played the first 10 minutes on my friends xbox years ago so this is going to be great for me.
Please, stop thinking that because the game is NOT being developed on iPhone 6 hardware, the Touch Arcade gameplay was done on an iPad Air! So expect this game to support a fair few devices including the iphone 5S and 5. Touch Arcade iPad Air gameplay video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Jm0AZGV8vo
The iPhone 5S' potential hasn't even been tapped yet because they're too busy trying to make everything compatible with older devices. Metal is coming and that 64 bit processor is going to finally be used. And this is purely speculation, man. AINT NOBODY GOT TIME F'DAT!
Every year it's the same thing,a keynote to show the potential of the new iPhone, then only few games/developers update they're games specifically for 64 Bit processor, even my iPhone 5 hasn't show it's full potential, infact BIOSHOCK it's the first game that require iPhone 5 and up..
T I don't think 5/5s would be able to run it properly which is 'smooth' 30fps not 20 not 23,24 or 25 but solid 30fps.People I see have a little misconception as to what is called a smooth frame rate. It's anything above 30,for those who are wondering. If the video is anything to go by it struggles on an iPad air even after massive downgrade.Iphone 6 or above will be my bet for 'locked' 30fps,hopefully. A good framerate is essential for a first person shooter more than any genre.
What you're saying might be true but I hope it's not. I'm not planning to upgrade my iPad mini 2 and I'd like to have 30 fps on this.
Yes,I prefer a graphic downgrade but a solid framerate,I always look first at gameplay, then the graphics, for me a solid framerate are 30-35 FPS and up,especially on games like BIOSHOCK,if I want the full experience I play it on my PS3,who already play 9 playtrough, the last one with the PS3 "Ultimate Rapture Edition"Cause I try new game plus..but for me it's just good having the option to play BIOSHOCK on my iPhone/iPad..so,we see..iPhone 6 wasn't on my list, but next iPad for sure..
Hmm ye, the kinda low framerate was also one of my concerns when I saw the video and I already said that in one of my previous posts but the reviewer said it was due to the screen capturing and he didn't noticed any framedrops at all. This point still stands though.
Every single video taken will show dropped frames that aren't present on the device, it's a side effect of recording the footage of a device by pointing a video camera directly at a screen. It's never a true representation.
At least, it should run fine on the 5S. If it really lags on the Air or Mini2 due to the higher resolution then I'll probably just use RetinaPad to force a lower resolution like I did with MC5 and GTA:SA. I would prefer a lower resolution over highres graphics on a low framerate any day. Hopefully, this wont be the case but we will see how this plays out I guess.
I think it will be around the 600-720p range which would be same for all devices probably. No way are they going for 4k not even a ps4 would be able to handle that. I too would love the frame rate and stuff but hopefully they'll allow us to adjust graphics in the same way as the pc version.Textures should atleast be console quality.
