I will say this for Bioshock. It finally compelled me to get off my butt and order an mfi controller...

 

Yeah, I remember playing this and MGS on my LG. I thought the graphics were so good for cellphones.

 

What's the best controller for iPad mini?

 

It's probably Steelseries Stratus but if you're big handed like me you might wanna try something else.

Xbox 360 works the best.as of now,I don't have the others them but I have tried all of them before.Power ace.is currently the best in form factor and steel steries is pretty much useless and far too expensive for being a straight up big controller.

The best controller I'm waiting for is a higher build moga ace with better more responsive buttons and analogs,better build quality,lighter weight and cheaper price.Mfi controllers are all pretty useless as of now,You can get 2 ps3/360 controller for their price all of them would have better build quality.

 

Yeah, but those only work if you jailbreak, and not everyone, including me, wants to put up with that anymore.

I ended up getting a Steelseries Stratus. I like it actually. It's small, making no mistake, but it hasn't taken long to get used to using it in my hands. I wish I knew why I had to press so hard on the R2 button, but oh well. And yes, I could have waited, but I've waited long enough.

 

The MOGA Controllers are great, if the new MOGA iOS Controller is as good as their android counterparts then it's as close as you'll get to a 360 controller for the phone.

Let me see you can get an xbox 360 for 20$ right now,Power ace for 70-80$ and steel stratus for around 70$.With 360 being superior in build quality and pretty much everything else too.Your willing to pay 50$ just so you don't have to 'jailbreak' your device for free?really?

I can see moga power ace being sold for no more than 30$ with it's super cheap build quality.Steel stratus for not more than 15$ since it really is just an inferior 360 controller,Buying any of the above is akin to burning your money at that price.I don't know what the manufacturer s were thinking tbh.

 

360 gamepads aren't what I'd call "portable".
