Is multiplayer really that great? A bunch of my friends have played for hours on it, totally ignoring the campaign, which is pretty much the entire point of it.
Nah, I play it almost soley for the multiplayer, but Bioshock is more of an environment, story-heavy type of game, which has me wondering. *sigh* a 9-minute video. Alright, lemme grad my Redenbacher. Edit: It's 5. nvm.
It's pretty damn addicting. It can get a little hectic, but the amount of stuff you can do to kill the enemy is great. Combining plasmids with weapons is a great idea that I haven't seen in other shooter.
I can honestly say that this is a terrible analogy (no offense). Nobody buys BioShock 2 for the multiplayer, it's just a nice bonus. You buy BioShock 2 for Rapture, and the beauty that lies inside it's creepy rustic walls. You buy Call of Duty for a quick, fast-paced shoot 'em up and you hardly EVER touch the campaign.
So explain to me why I'm hitting someone with a full charged electroblast and then emptying a mag of machine gun ammo into their skull only for them to turn around and rape me with a pistol? And yes, I'm sure I'm hitting them. Also, sorry for the double post.
Maybe because they have a higher rank, therefore they have better stuff (weapons with extras, tonics) Try to play the team based stuff first so you can get more adam (exp) easily and you can upgrate your stuff.
