So, there's a few months left before the February release. The Collector's Edition was just announced lately, and I'll stick my pre-order on it as soon as it appears in the GAME online store. Is anyone else feeling excited?
I'm playing through the first one now through bootcamp. Never really liked these types of games but I have to admit this one's good. I'll probably wait for a sale though, I picked up bioshock on sale for $5 on steam
I won't be getting it until a platinum hit version gets released and the original version goes way down in price. There's just too many games I wanna play and too little time.

the first game was a freaking masterpiece. Can't wait to go home and play my shiny new copy of Bioshock 2
Just got Bioshock 2: Special Edition This thing is nice-- It comes with a 160 page hard bound art book, a soundtrack CD, a soundtrack VINYL and 3 Rapture posters... Oh yeah, and the game is FREAKING AWESOME!
I'm hearing it's a pitifully short game, even when compared to the pitifully short games we're used to these days.
Well define "pitifully short game"... I've logged in 4 hours and I haven't even gotten into the meat of the plot (keep in mind I'm playing on easy so I can fully explore everything with calm, read, hear and see everything). I actually think this game is as good/ better than the last one. It officially kicks up Bioshock and Rapture into my top 3 series, reserved for Halo and Hyrule.
I can't say I know for sure, it's just a recurring trend I've seen in Bioshock 2 conversations. I don't own the game myself. If it's not an accurate statement then fair enough.
