Not a big NES player, but it does give you direct access to your Folder app, which is very convenient. Because of NES screen proportions, it plays best on portrait, but it seems to support controllers. Keep ‘em coming! sebgo likes this. sebgo Well-Known Member Dec 26, 2010 835 399 63 Male 95% leisure. According to his reply, he wanted to play it safe by initially limiting support to the iOS version he had access to. I think he might be trustworthy, given the fact that he's had a fairly decent chiptunes music composer for a while on the store which actually exports audio files in an alledgedly NES supported format (I'm not dev, though). He's probably into indie NES development. I would have given it a go already, had it been iOS16 compatible. Looking forward to an update. Edit: Shows up as free for me now. It was $4,900 COP ($0.99) ealier. Nintendo seems to be focused on Switch emulators, which makes sense. They would have a tough case with a a retro emulator that did not involve breaking DRM. But I get being cautious. sebgo likes this. sebgo Well-Known Member Dec 26, 2010 835 399 63 Male 95% leisure. First it was 99 cents. Then it was free. Picked it up free. Figured it was going quick. Got both emulators. Now just gotta get games on them. Hoping I can email myself a zip file and do it that way. I don’t use iTunes or ever hook my phone to a computer. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #15 squarezero, Apr 17, 2024 No need to use a computer. You can download ROMs from your favorite source, then use the Files app to unzip them in your Downloads folder. Copy the file and paste it in the app’s folder (Bimmy’s in the surface level of your iCloud folder; iGBA is in “On My Phone”). It’s pretty simple and straightforward, but you have to know a little about using the Folder app on your iPhone. elcrazy likes this. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
