Bike Baron [Releasing October 20th]

Contrary what the screen says Baron is just warming his feet... he most certainly didn't crash:


Vlado & Mirko have been adding all kinds of cool things into the game, I really should do a video so you could see all the fine details

We haven't done night themes yet.

There's a "night" debug switch which makes the level darker and turns on the bike light but that's only meant for development version. Kinda like the Homer Simpson mod we did

 

The game was sent for its last round of beta testing today! It's matter of days until it's submitted to Apple!

Also, we're thinking about running a level design competition for Bike Baron. Which prize would you prefer, the next iPhone or iPad 2?

If we're blessed with a swift approval then 13th is a possibility, otherwise 20th looks more likely.

 

Yes, we definitely want to do another gameplay video. I would just prefer to have a direct feed video instead of video camera footage (the earlier video was shot with a camera).
Vlado and Tim are trying to figure out how to do the direct feed and if they manage to solve it we'll do a new video with a lot cleaner quality. Ari's music & voice acting is also fun to hear when the footage is good quality
