the game looks awesome. the baron looks a little misproportioned..

 

I really like how the star requirements change as you get deaper into the game. Instead of getting a star for simply finishing the level, the task changes to things like finishing a level without crashing or do 3 front flips. I am only liking this game more and more as I spend more time with it,

 

I agree that the acceleration is a bit too fast. I am yet to play it on a iPad though so don't know how it plays on the larger screen with a little more visibility ahead.

A great game overall. Love the fact that one can restart immediately without any loading times and that after a crash one can tap anywhere to start the run again.


PS: The Cat Rules! Does the Cat have a name?

I'm somewhat surprised about the comments about physics and appearance of certain things in the game - cat on the back, look of the Baron, etc. I don't feel like this is supposed to be anything "realistic", just an arcade racer. If these are true detriments to the gameplay experience, then that's fine, but it seems kind of nit-picky.

I could see it if this game had uber photorealistic graphics where the expectation was realism, but this is hardly the case.

As deto alluded, nothing can make everyone happy and that's what makes us human.

 

If that's the motto you go by that's pretty bad. No offense. When it comes to video games you want to make them as close to perfect as possible. And this game is far from perfect.

 

I wasn't complaining about the cat. I said it was dumb, which it is. And even if I were you act like you've never heard of anyone complain about a video game before...

Still loving it. Think I'm done with the story mode bit for now and it's time to start with the level creator. So I'm going to have a think and see if I can come up with some cool levels.

 

Lmao! Hey as long as I can take the damn cat off my bike I don't care. I want different color bikes. Like lime green, blue, red, etc. So they look like real bikes. Also PLEASE tweak the physics, and smooth out the game!

I'm ranked 53rd in the leaderboards at the moment. Anyone knows what the score means?

 

I picked this up earlier today and have played through maybe 10 levels. Definitely a fun little game, but not exactly blistering difficulty. Rather easy so far. I'm sure it will get a bit tougher as it goes, though I won't expect to see anything like in Trials HD, which isn't too surprising.

 

Not showing up in purchased Apps

It seems that The Bike Baron isn't appearing in purchased apps, which means I cant get it on any other device. Purchased on my iPad2 and want it on my iPhone.

To be sure it wasn't just a snag on my purchase, I checked with a friend and they had purchased it on their iPhone and guess what... It's not showing in their purchased apps either.

Anyone else getting this issue?

 

I'm getting the same. App store doesn't tag it as installed. I'll relay it forward.

I tried buying it again on my different device and it did report it as already purchased. Don't know why its not reported properly though

 

Jeez. What have you got against the cat? Were you attacked by a cat as a child? If it was Adolf Hitler on the back of the bike then I can see why you'd be pissed. But it's just a cute little cat

 

It's not just bike baron. The last six games Ive bought in the last couple of days arnt showing up? The stuff I've downloaded free is there but not the games I've bought. Maybe it's just slow at updating?
