I suppose you do Motherland good enough. I did it in 5.19 but when playing it again and again I even go 45sec better. So I will definitely aim to reach 4.35 after update. Btw, what's your tactic with red wooden blocks (before the long flight up)? I rely completely on luck when passing it and the only conclusion I made - to run it on the medium speed.
I've not read a lot of comments on the new iPad hd retina update so here are my own: - very large difference in how everything looks a lot sharper, well done, looks fantastic! - the frame rate was not improved from iPad 1 (which is what I played it on previously) To be clear, bike baron does not have a bad frame rate! But it is not 60fps either. Is the frame rate locked the same for all devices? Or does the ipad 2 have an advantage ove ipad 1? Personally, I would love to see a 60fps mode, even if it meant disabling the iPad retina resolution, would be good to have that option. But as it is, I have to make due with an awesome game anyway I see it. I had played this game for a long time then took a break a few months ago. I think it is time to give it a whirl again
The red wooden blocks that fall from the sky at the end of the level? (just before the long fall down to the floor) That is one of the few bits i can pass everytime I wait for the first set of blocks to land then speed to the max and land on the flat plank on the most right and drive up it before the rest of the blocks fall down.
I also pass these blocks easily) I mean the blocks before the long flight UP. Do you have any idea how to manage it?
OMG. I just got past the teeth in Dragons teeth at 2 min, then failed fell over on the flat before the checkpoint. So sad.
If you did it once it's gonna be much easier next time. I pass the "teeth" in 26-28sec when do my best.
You can actually clear them in the first run itself... hit the gas and really tilt yourself back and be vertical while crossing the red blocks... you should be able to cross it without having to restart at the checkpoint.
Sometimes it works, but often there is 1 block lying just on the checkpoint and in this case you can't use this trick)
It's coming along great, we're hoping to submit it next week. One hardcore player specific feature is the ability to play without any checkpoints, will be interesting to see how the rankings are gonna look for that insane leaderboard!
I've passed those on the first try a fair few times. I stopped accelerating before i get to the first drop and then go from one unstable block to the next taping the back button a little bit. Each block falls forward while im on top of it and gets me to the next. I only accelerate a little bit towards the last few. To get over them easily is all about having the correct speed as you get there. Difficult to explain better sorry
OMG YES!!! I BEAT DRAGONS TEETH!!! 41:41.394 not a great time :/ Ah well. Got to the last bits at 2:31, then tried to get thought eh rest of the time >.< I gave up trying to get over them, and Everytime just reversed and tried to jump the three pillars, and it actually worked, kinda.
I think the top 10... or maybe 25 people on the leaderboard would have mostly passed levels without checkpoints for the best times. I don't think anyone else apart from these people will try for the no-checkpoint leaderboard. It's basically like introducing a no-crash objective in all the levels.
After comparing Bike Baron to other bike games on AppStore we found out that we are giving away too many levels for free.
