Hahaha Mario, Sonic and the others plataform classics are much more than just running and jumping. I mean, is Mirror's Edge more than what I played on Vector? Looks quite the same to me and I've downloaded the free version of Vector, played for some minutes and never got back again. Is Mirror's Edge really good?
My advice? Stop bargain hunting and just buy whatever one current game is good. You won't finish 50 games you bought at a cheap 99c but you will get the full moneys worth off a $6.99 you spent on one great game.
Well I would rather spend a proper amount on a game I will actually finish rather than fifty-99c games of which I will never even get to play most of. But hey, to each his own.
Yes, bargain hunting and reading about the apps and tracking sales seems to take as much of my time as actually playing the games. I've probably bought 50+ games and barely touched 40 of them, "saving them for a rany day". That's not counting the thousands and thousands of freebies of course. Now let me go buy at least one of these EA games and then go play some more Kingdom Rush.
It's kinda like Rayman Jungle Run, only 100 times better. Ok not many will agree with me but I still think this game is the best iPad runner/platformer.
I'm with you on that. Never got into Rayman. I may or may not have deleted it. I still have a copy of mirrors edge though. Even after beating it.
I have. It was ok, but can't compare it to the PC/whatever platform it was on. For 99c it should be a good deal.
I ended up not buying Mirror's Edge because it has in-game ad popups after every level according to the reviews.
Played three stages and no popup between them, but both times I fired the game up I got a popup, one about Fifa 13 and another about RR3. This didn't happen before, but i find this game so good I think it's still worth a buck, never played a runner or whatnot that I liked so much after that one.
