      I was wondering how does one get started in the beta testing field, because I would really like to give it a shot and help these devs and try some new apps, but don't know where or how to start.

      Help/suggestions?

      Go to upcoming games. When you find games of interest, apply for them. It's pretty simple.

      Go to the Upcoming games section of the forums and wait until a developer announces that they are looking for Beta testers.

      That's his forte, he told us before that he just answers threads without reading them. I don't know what he gets out of using a forum.

      write down all apps you tested so if you tested a few
      devs will pick you rather

      And when you get really good, devs will start paying you with iTunes giftcards!

      And then when you get REALLY good (like a certain Brazilian friend of ours), devs will ask YOU to beta test their game!

      ...and you may/may not run out of room on your sig!
