Make sure you guys are giving the devs feedback and actually helping them. I have a feeling people only want to beta test for free games, but that's not what it's about. Also, I don't think it's a good idea to ask to beta test for a developer unless they're specifically asking someone to. Just my thoughts.
I know what you mean, but I don't think we need a new topic for every member who wants to beta test. Just put it in you signature or in a post like this: Hey guys, if anybody's looking for a beta tester, I'm open (for real) Also, if anybody is interested in beta testing "Bullet Skater" good luck, seeing that I've had way too many inquiries before the game is even finished.
