So, I prefer not to participate on Reddit or Facebook. Shall I continue to post here? Will someone be keeping an eye on these comments? It seems that if you ask members of TA to be among your beta-testers, you should expect to monitor and participate in the discussion here.
Hi yes please do comment and give feedback here on TA as all channels are being monitored and all feedback will be responded to
Thanks for the feedback! We have added the crash steps to our log. The exp will increase from beating levels and us part of our balancing work. They will be increasing but not as noticeable early on.
Sacrificing duplicate characters is the only sure and quick way to level up a gemling The crashing has been identified. We will update the game again soon.
the xp after battles is like a goal, destroying x amount of gems to level up the gemlings skill? It seemed that way but maybe not. I also get a lot of crashing but it's random for me, sometimes it happens when a level is loaded in right before any story starts, sometimes it happens going in to my gemlings list/party setup. It just isn't consistent enough to say exactly when and where it happens. Also, imo the difficulty of getting 3 stars in a level varies way too drastically. I can go in a level and hit 3 stars before I complete the objective, real quick, but then I can go in another level and be quick and chain and everything and barely get 2 . I dunno if anyone else has that issue though. I also could suggest the drop rate of evolution items be increased, I actually haven't found any even redoing levels I had to summon them from bean summons. Which brings me to the next suggestion, in the summoning area every time you summon the page resets back to the top so you have to scroll down everytime, can you make it so it doesn't and every time you summon , the screen stays down there so you can summon over and over without the screen reset?
I agree that the "getting three stars" criteria seems wildly variable. I was trying to decide last night if it was based on the speed with which you finished a level or the points gained while you played. There was one level I finished pretty quickly, had a lot of moves left, and barely made one star. There is an awful lot that just seems unexplained to me, unless I somehow missed a tutorial (as I said in my first posts, when I started the game I was essentially dumped right onto the map and thrown into a match)... For instance, at the end of a match, there is a screen where the gemlings all get points? All of mine are at level 1 and yet the points I get in a match barely even move the indicator bars...if I am supposed to be working toward level 2, it is going to take a very long time. In most games, the first few levels are reached relatively quickly...this seems somewhat discouraging. The poster above me mentioned summoning? I have no idea what he's talking about...I must have missed something somewhere. I have found that the bottom row of all the match screens are somewhat...defective... I can only sometimes move pieces in the bottom row and only occasionally activate the gemlings who are in that row.
Hello, thank you for playing the game. Ok, there are plenty of feedbacks and questions on this post. Let me try to break it down: 1. Yes, the XP after battle is currently insignificant as we encourage players to upgrade the gemling to level up for a quicker upgrade 2. We have identified the source of the random crashes and we are fixing the issue and will release an udpate in the near future. 3. Yes, we are aware as well about some inconsistency in achieving 3 stars in some stages. We are still looking for a perfect formula to counter this (not that it will ever be perfect for everyone though). However, getting big chain reactions is one of the keys to get 3 stars at this time *hint* *hint* 4. You can get evolution materials from material quests that will pop up daily. Everyday will have a different material quests 5. Scrolling after summoning... ok, well noted. Thank you and we hope we have covered all of your feedbacks and bug reports
Hi, the poster before you is referring to the shop scene where you can summon gemling via Bean Draw for free (watching ad). Well noted on the bottom row of the match screen. I think it might be too small of hit area for the bottom row. We will look into improving this issue. Thank you
I really like matching type games in general, however, it takes a lot these days to hold my attention and keep me invested for more than a few hrs/days. This is really a good concept and I like the inclusion of being able to customize my team. There are a few things that could make playing smoother but that's the whole reason for betas ...to sort out the issues. Anyway I have played for a couple days and still have Lots to experience ...but here my thoughts so far...... - I've experienced A LOT of crashes, just happening suddenly and at random.... - The two currencies need more explanation ....as does the leveling & evolving ....I just happened to notice that some of the characters are more of a "material" and are used for evolving. After the initial "tutorial" your not reminded or able to find the information anywhere...maybe adding a help screen with gameplay details .... -The bottom of the matching screen ( iPad mini 4 ) ...having a hard time selecting blocks on the lowest row, it will only register my tap if I touch the very top of the block....the team is right below that row and there's not a lot of room between the game board & team... - The scoring is a bit hard to figure out ...Im finishing with few moves and still not getting the 3stars ... - might just be me....but I think it's level 5-1 that I've yet to finish with anything aboven1 star, however the other level 5 are no issue getting. 3stars ....in theory shouldn't level 5-5 be more difficult than level 5-1 .... - Will all levolving materials be found In levels? - This is more of a preference, but when levels are finished and the bonus is calculating I would really love the ability to skip/speed through all the action rather than having to sit and wait for the bonus to finish. I'm liking this a lot more than I originally thought I would, and despite having limited game lives, multiple currencies I haven't hit a "pay wall" the IAP prices for the bundles aren't unreasonable and I would probably purchase. I would like to see an option that let you buy unlimited lives as I don't tend to like restrictions on my gameplay. I'm sure the levels will get really difficult at some point and having to play/wait/play/wait will just frustrate me...depends on how balanced I guess...
Hi Beth, thank you for the detailed feedbacks. Please allow me to response one by one 1. Yes, crashes are common, unfortunately. However, we have found the issue and we are fixing it. We shall upload an update after we find a solution. 2. Noted. We will need to discuss more about this with the team. 3. Yes, we realized this as well. We are looking into this issue as well. 4. Scoring-wise, we are still looking for a perfect formula to get the scoring and stars system correctly. 5. Evolution materials can be found through material quests and trials. You will open up more material quests as you progress through the game. They can be found on different days. 6. I believe you can press the buttons to go to the next stage even before the counting is done? Thank you for your support
Developer's Update: We are working on a new update to fix random crashes that have been reported so far. A new build should be ready sometime in the middle of next week. Thank you
Got the update. But I am having a problem that existed even before this update. You know how you finish a level and each member of your team gets points? Well, I thought they were accruing awfully slowly but I realize now that the level indicators are not moving at all. I've pretty much finished Cloverly Meadows (I think that's the name) and the level markers of my team member show hardly any blue...and some show none. All still level one.
Hi, the gemling does accrue points albeit very, very slowly. The rarer, the slower they are. Let's see an example: Elektrokin, about 1700 gems left to match before levelling up. After battle, Elektrokin shows its progress bar... Thank you.
Developer's Update: Having fixed most of the crash bugs, we are currently working on fixing other known bugs such as: - Gemlings' level resets after upgrade (on some gemlings) - Overlapping BGM when watching ads - Incorrect Gemlings' damages - Some trial mode level issues We are still searching and testing for more bugs. A final launch date will be revealed in the coming days. Thank you!
Loopyroo seems to be the most popular Gemling leader in the previous Trial season among the top players. Do you think it will stay true in the current season? Which Gemling is your favorite leader?
Two more days before Rainbow Tail's global release. Who's excited? Thank you TouchArcade for having an article about us! http://toucharcade.com/2017/09/21/rainbow-tail-release-date/
