How are things going? For the UI I would just recommend checking out polished games like Hayday or FarmVille 2 and similar games to yours for ideas on it then put your own graphical spin on it. At the moment it's pretty ugly and nobody likes ugly graphics : ) but the rest of the game is looking nice so I'm sure you'll find something that suits.
We 100% agree with you and this is exactly what we do now. However it is not a simple process and we estimate it will take around 2 months Thanks! A little sneak-peek from our little studio. Game design on the paper!

I vote for #2. It's by far the best looking one in my opinion, and matches the farming theme the best. I like 2 better than one because it has more details, which makes it look a bit more polished in my opinion.
