I was just scoping out Zombie Attack! And thinking it was about this time last year when it came out, but i checked and it actually was November...

I also was looking to see if a cool update came out, but nothing since early spring. :/

Bearing in mind that all the posts before yours were made 16 months ago, I can't see why you find that surprising.

Of the recent(ish) zombie games, my favourites are

    Zombie Cafe
    A4ER
Make a zombie (not a game but really lollable)
    Apocalypse zombie fish
And some more that don't come to mind immediately

Glad some reanimated this thread; here are some recommended zombie games:

Pro Zombie Soccer - arcade style stand and shoot with a twist
Zombie Wonderland - time management tap with a housed in survivor
Zombie Escape - line drawing was never so much fun
Infect Them All - started off meh but grew on me; chase and infect (tilt or d-pad control)
Aftermath - atmospheric dual stick "shooter" illuminate baddies in dark to shoot
Zombie & Lawn - odd ode to Brain Dead similar to Infect Them All
Plants Vs Zombies - of course...
Stenches - tactical line drawing tower defense hybrid.
Zombie Infection - Gameloft Residential Evil clone
Doodle Army - has a spirited zombie level (also martians).
Battle Bears Zombies - hilarious zombie pink bear carnage; but I want to like it more than I have
Dead Rising Mobile - not great but for low expectation sandbox zombie action it hits the spot

I personally found Zombie Cafe to be weaker and got frustrated with IAP in both that and Zombie Farm. Boo freemium.

    Any others I'm missing?

Edit: I also notice thanks to this thread ZombieHunter [7DA] has been free since 02/01/11... now mine.

I challenge myself to do as best as possible without paying anything. The game is 100% free that way and quite addictive and mesmerising. Also the facebook friend features are awesome.

Wow... It's been a long time since I've seen this thread around... Time for an updated list:

1.) Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies
    2.) N.Y.Zombies
    3.) Zombie Infection
    4.) Zombieville U.S.A.
5.) Hm... this one is a bit of a toss-up. I feel like Zombie Crisis 3D and iZombieland both deserve this spot, but not sure which one to give it to. I guess with the updated difficulty I'll have to give this one to Zombie Crisis 3D.

Don't forget Rotten City. Maybe not my all-time fav (and I love Zombie games) but it found it pretty addicting.

I picked it up last year due to the thread on the game here on the forums.

Kind of like a top-down zombie shooter with light RPG elements, where have safe houses in this small town and you can pickup/buy weapon upgrades. The anime-type graphics are actually quite well done.

Here's the thread on the game.
    RottenCity: zombie-themed RPG +lite

Can anyone recommend or discourage Zombie Neighborhood?

Also Glu's Zombie Isle is freemium (so therefore a vile abomination) but it looks cool. I wish I could bring myself to try it.

Out of weakness for zombie games I'll resurrect this thread to mention some other worthy additions:

Ghost Ninja: Zombie Beatdown - a quality platformed throwback with good level variety and a cheesy sense of humor. Lite version here.

Zombie Sweeper - a good wack-a-mole platformer hybrid similar to tappi bear with some nice homages to classic horror movies (even a lightsaber weapon) but item upgrades can be a chore (making it almost freemium).

It's not out yet but Tactical Soldier: Undead Rising seems promising too and I understand it'll be out within 2 weeks.

Any other recent noteworthy zombie romps? Thanks in advance.
