its not a ps3 exclusive. That was one big shocker for JRPG fans who thought their precious little ps3 had good exclusives. Boy were they wrong.
Assasin's Creed Burnout Paradise - The Ultimate Box Left 4 Dead (Although I think the PC version is better) Guitar Hero III (If you're into that kinda stuff)
I'll come along and say i love my PS3 Does that mean we get to start a flame war? Does it does it? Hehe... I dunno, i was thinking about getting a 360 as well, but i just can't think of many exclusives i'd want to get for it... Maybe Forza, Project Gotham, Rez HD and Gears 2... Everything else that's on 360 i might like that's not on PS3 i just get on PC instead (which is better). So, i can't really offset the initial £150 by four games...
Bioshock (best game ever) Orange Box (I love Portal, and half-life) Castle Crashers (xbox live) bionic commando: rearmed (xbox live) Prototype looks amazing (comes out next month) Bionic Commando 360 looks good too (comes out this week) skate 2 is fun gears 1 and 2 are rad Left 4 dead is cool too I don't own a PS3, but I'd love to play Little Big Planet and resistance 2. I may get a PS3 down the road, but I'm glad I got the 360 first. it's great.
I have a 360 and I really love it. But if you want to also get a Blu-Ray player, then get the PS3. Honestly the PS3 might have slightly better graphics but the X360 might be cheaper (?)
See, that's just what I'm talking about! The only two out of those I can't get are Castle Crashers and Gears 2 Resistance 2 is over-rated like Halo, but the online for it's pretty good - if you want a great storyline however, Resistance 1 is better. Little Big Planet is truly a brilliant game, it's great having 3 of your mates able to play along in any level, and some of the online levels people have created are awesome. Other good exclusives are Metal Gear Solid 4 (I think it's a little over-rated, but most people love it), Uncharted (If you ever get a PS3, this HAS to be on your games to get list!), Uncharted 2 should be great as well. Ratchet and Clank, the two Motorstorms and Gran Tusimo 5 are also all good games that come to mind. Lastly, there are some pretty good Playststion Network games; Flow, Flower, Pixeljunk Eden, Wipeout HD, Superstardust HD and a couple of others, Flow, Flower and Wipeout are all totally awesome Playststion Home is slightly sucky, but it's getting better, and I can't wait for Fat Princess on PSN.
If I could make a really loud "Error" noise or "Buzzzzzz" noise, I would just for fun lol. But seriously, Versus is still PS3 only. The "Big Shock" you speak of, is for the Multiplatform FFXIII. The PSP Is also getting a few exclusive FF games but thats aside the point. From a perspective of someone who has pretty much all the game systems currently out, I would suggest the 360, and thats in terms of EVERYTHING over all. Community Base, Xbox Live Arcade/Marketplace (Which positively dwarfs the PS Store), good exclusive games, and fan-base. I am no way saying that the 360 is BETTER than the PS3, but in terms of an easy and huge online community base, its a no brainer. Don't get me wrong, PS3 has nuts ass titles like Killzone 2 (Fan-f***ing-TASTIC FPS) and MGS4, and awesome games like Little Big Planet, and Uncharted. But when it comes to multi-platform games, graphically, they pretty much look the same. Some games may look particularly better on PS3 for me, but that is easily arguable. At that point I then look to the type of game, is it a more online-based game? If so then I default to 360. Also, more of my friends have a 360 vs a PS3, and that sucks sometimes too. They are just easier to afford and thats that. I wont steer you either way, I dont like to do that, but since your asking, I will have to tell you to get a 360. I am not a "fan-boy" of either system. I am a gamer, and thus I love to game. I am fortunate to have all the systems I have, so I am not going to waste my time bitching about what is better and why. I just play the games like they were meant to be played. And as far as RPG's out, there are a few good jems, but these past couple years have been blowing huge d*** for RPG's, for both systems. There have only been a few decent ones... As far as peripherals, Xbox 360 all the way. The Headsets, the chat pads (Especially the f***ing chat pad. the PS3 one is a joke, I hate it. the 360 one pwns, and lights up, which really does make a huge difference for me) the cams and remotes. I do like that the PS3 uses Blutooth, so I was able to use my headset that I use for my cell phone instead of purchasing a WHOLE NEW one. One of the biggest things, obviously, is the Bluray player on the PS3. This was invaluable to me, since I didn't have one before. The PS3's media properties do outweigh that of the 360, easily. Hope that kind of helps... its not a huge help but the online thing is something to definitely keep in the back of your mind if you like online gaming. A lot of games are leaning more towards it and its noticable, but not every game has a strong multiplayer. Both systems are awesome, either way you put it.
You really shouldn't be worried about that I heard a rumour that Microsoft was already starting to plan their next console (and most likely so will Nintendo and Sony), but each generation up until this point has been about 5-6 years, yet Microsoft and Sony think the current generation might last even longer, that means that we won't be seeing the 720 (okay so it's unlikely it'll be called that) and the PS4 until 2012 at the earliest.
I agree with you. While your feelings on exclusives are purely subjective, I still think 360 has better ones. I actually own both consoles, but the amount of playtime my PS3 gets is a joke. Some PS3 exclusives I like: Uncharted, Motorstorm, LBP, MGS 4 (way overrated) I own Killzone 2, and both Resistances but the PS3 controller sucks so bad for FPS's that I cant even play them. All three of those are also overrated games. On the 360 side, I like: Gears 1, Gears 2, Left 4 Dead, Ninja Gaiden 2, Braid, Castle Crashers, Fable 2, Geom wars 2, plus Fallout 3 has 3 extra DLC things and GTA4 has the Exclusive Lost and Damned DLC so I think thats a win right there. agree to what?
As I mentioned before, there would be only four games I would get for 360, whereas I could name more than ten exclusives for the PS3 I either have or would want - at the end of the day it pretty much comes down to which franchises you like... Then again I considered getting a 360 just for Rez HD I could question about how he thinks 360 has better multiplatform games, it again depends which game; GTA4, a horrible game on both systems IMO, has the DLC on 360, Bioshock has more polish and content on the PS3.
