This article sums up a lot of our own opinions and impressions: http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/wearable-technology/1404478/best-gear-vr-apps-and-games-10-to-download-first. Check it out, it's a quality read.
Welp, it's been almost a full year since I commented on this thread, and I'm pretty surprised at this point that it's not more popular, TBH! All the VR glasses are out, and there's SO many apps for them out now, though I admit wading through the crap to get to the good is definitely a challenge, but I actually enjoy that challenge of finding them almost as much as the apps themselves! I find the recommendations put forth here by Tannorexic to be great examples of what fun and coolness there is to be had on the VR platform as we speak! But, since it hasn't really started to click still, it seems, I'm going back to sleep 'til this really busts out and becomes the big thing it's supposed to be! ##
I picked up a cheap pair of Google Cardboard goggles a few months ago and had a great week or two. The standout games for me were: Vanguard V InCell VR InMind VR Speed VR VR TunnelRace Also Littlestar has some good videos.
