Meteor Blitz is an old game that hasn't been updates since 2013 (which probably means it will soon get deleted by Apple), but it's still one of my favorite twin-stick shooters.

Dude, I'd never heard of Meteor Blitz. That game is sick. I can't believe how responsive the controls are. 3 1/2 years since an update and this is probably the smoothest most responsive iOS game I think I've ever played. Thanks for putting this up, squarezero. You da man!

And if anyone wants to check it out there is a free version to try before you buy the full version.

Good ones that hevnt been mentioned yet...

    Bastion
Implosion (should count, even though there is hack and slash for the most part. Else just ignore)

How i wish these were still available...
    Lara Croft Guardian of Light
    Solomon's Keep
    Solomon's Boneyard
    Zombies. (By Bignic)
...and there was one i really liked that had a futuristic theme gathering heroes of the past and turning them into killing machines (e.g. Lincoln with a machien gun, but i really dont remember much anymore)
...and another one which had 4-player coop i played woth jcho and connector back then, but then had bugs that i dont think were ever fixed. There is hope the devs would revive it though, last news was that they got the license back from their old publisher.

No longer available, but still works just fine is Infinity Field.

Isotope A Space Shooter continues to work and is excellent.

Radiangames - Inferno + and Inferno 2 are my favirites.

Space Miner by Venan Entertainment is sort of a twin stick, RPG, very funny, good entertainment.

No love for either of the 9th Dawn games? Twin-stick dungeon crawlers - there aren't enough of them! I haven't really got stuck in to 9th Dawn II yet, but I really like its style.

I believe the first Heroes of Loot is also a twin-stick dungeon crawler. The sequel had auto aim, so it doesn't qualify, but it was very good.

Nope... The first game was also single button shooting with auto aim.

That first one was really excellent... can't remember the name either!
Edit: Second Chance Heroes! Sadly unavailable :/
Also just found out the creative director and lead producer of the game now heads a company that develops Vegas blackjack and lottery games... such a sad story. Wish we knew what happened to his old studio. So much promise!

That second one is the high and mighty "Meltdown," one of my favorite games ever. Even in its slightly buggy state, it's still one of the best dual sticks on iOS, with awesome co-op and upgrades and skill trees. I've personally never had an issue, but the reviews on the store say otherwise for others. Said update is out on PC and Android, and will make its way to iOS soon. Devs are busy with their next game at the moment (bittersweet, I know).

That was on my watchlist forever.

When I was going to buy, it was gone.

    Sad.

Dayum... Yeah. Second Chance Heroes. That game was pretty fun, and each character was very different from the rest which made each one a worthy purchase. Kinda like the Phoenix HD (pt1... ONE!) of dual stick shooters in that regard.

And yeah, I cant believe i forgot the title of Meltdown. It's just that it's been a while since i had that game installed. Had to remove it due to some bugs i cant remember, and i dont think it was ever fixed, was it?
