Thanks for the suggestions. I was looking for some just crazy racing game where you got to take out other cars. I just bought Burnout 3 yesterday after not playing it for a LONG time and I'm hooked again. I was looking for the closest thing to it on the iPhone, or another fun similar game for a good price. I do remember playing NFS when it first came out and found it to be pretty fun, much better than Fast and the Furious Pink Slip which is the only racer I have. Seeing all these suggestions I'll definetly look at Jet Car Racing (Which I wasn't even looking at before) and see how I like it. I hope this helps clarify things a bit more though.
JET CAR RACER...! Although there aren't any opponents. This game is a blast. Graphics, sound, level design, controls... everything is just perfect! Never had this much fun with all the top titles, even if they are good. And Asphalt 5 on a 3GS is uglier, than it could be... the blur just turns me off.
Lol I was really considering this back when it was a buck but then when Asphalt 5 came out it went back up to 5 (Why?). Stupid business decision but at least it makes my choice that much easier.
I can see... I actually like RR more than Forza... gives a little more leeway than the ULTRA realistic driving sim Forza. I couldn't beat the first race in Forza but I stood a chance in RR. I've been playing the GTI version in the meantime though.
Asphalt 5 is the closest thing you'll find to Burnout on the iDevice. It's my favorite racing game. I highly recommend it.
Yeah I'm personally leaning toward Asphalt 5 myself. It just seems like the cars avoid you WAY too much and I'm not sure about the framerate on my iPod 1g. Knowing Gameloft, a lite version is inevitable, so I think I'll wait for that just to see how everything flows with the AI and the graphical capibilities of my iPod hold up. Again thanks for the info guys. Oh yeah, I'm also checkin out Jet Car Stunts quite a bit. Seems like a fun game, I'll see how much money I'm left with when I buy some other must haves first.
You're not a fan of realistic racers yet you put real racing on the poll? Anyways I'd say Need for Speed is the best one on your poll.
Yeah I put it there because I actually like the game a bit. I've been enjoying the GTI version, and it's just an overall high quality title. I'd also like to say that I should have included 2XL Offroad ATV (or whatever it was) because I also like ATV/MotoX games, and ATV seems alot more polished.
Well, Need for Speed and Asphalt 5 are at a dead tie... A4 recieved absolutely NO votes. Wow. Either way, one more question. How does Asphalt 5 run on a 1g? I've tried to find videos of it but no one seems to have a 1g anymore.
