Tatomic! If you liked lumines on the psp or 360, then this as as close as you can get to it on the iphone.Plus, its free!
Do not forget about "Gaia" - IMHO so far the best match3 game in AppStore. Simplicity and beauty combined.
Smiles and Stoneloops. Never got into the Trism thing - and I even played the jailbreak-only-version before it was released into the AppStore.
I'm not trying to be a clever clogs here, but I found Numba a bit lacking in number sequences, curiously. I would love to have seen perhaps these: 2357 - primes 314159 - pi 112358 - fibonacci sequence That would make it a fantastic game!
Hello, Have you checked out our new puzzle game perplexed? It is now on sale for $.99! We would love to hear your feedback. Thanks,
I just got this based on your recommendation and the lite version. Its a very good game, and well worth the money, but the complete lack of instructions almost put me off from getting it. The developers like to go on about how it only contains universal symbols, but even they recognize the need for instructions because they have them all on their web site. They should just add them into the app. Michael
You know I still have Aurora Feint's Tower Puzzle free game on my iPhone. I like it, its challenging and has a cool dark graphic design along with the sound effects.
Someone just ported Bubble Spinner to the iphone. Its called Bubble Twirrl on the iphone, havent tried it yet, but Bubble Spinner is hugely addicting to many. Check out Bubble Spinner on one of the many free sites where you can play it via flash. Not sure I'm allowed to link, but google it.
If it doesn't has to be match3: * Robot Master * Jabeh * Dominate * Primrose * Huebris / GRAGVIO * Trixel * Symbolism Match 3 and similar: * Askend * Trism * Gemmed * Ball Slam * Claustrophobia * Color Drops * Box of Sox Big Albie made some nice reviews on some of them in the user review section.
This is currently (IMO) the best Match-3 available. Lots of options, the various levels are really different from each other, and there is a strategic aspect to it in that you earn a limited number of power-ups that you have to try to save for the later (and harder) levels. I have played a lot of them, and this is the only one that is still on my phone. Michael
I find match 3's generally either boring (bejeweled classic) or requiring incomprehensible maneuvers that I would need to go to school to understand to get some insane combo (trism). So I havent bought a lot of them. However, the concept of Alchemize really grabbed me as having more and deeper strategy, yet still being accessible. Check it out!
Adding my two cents for: (in no particular order since I enjoyed them all): Azkend Gemmed Treasures of Montezuma Adubble Rise of Atlantis All have levels and goals and unique elements to keep you going beyond the normal basic match 3. The Jewel Quests are in that category but I have played them on other platforms so much that the story got boring to me on the iTouch. It was a pure port and the story was literally the same. But still a quality game.
Ancient wonderland is a really underappriciated game...now with the zoom fix, it shouldnt really be called an azkend clone as I found it funner than azkend
Happens every time - read a thread like this and I end up spending a few bucks. Got Smiles - the 2 in 1 version and am looking up Ancient Wonderland now so that might be a second purchase because of these kinds of threads! It's ok, sometimes those games might pass me by and we can't have THAT!
