My two favourite puzzle games are Combination and Subway Shuffle. I wrote Combination, I'm just a fan of Subway Shuffle
I hope it's ok to recommend my own game, but we just released a puzzler called Hopido, which seems to fit all your requirements (sorry I edited the quote a bit). More about it in this thread. Drop7 is also great fun, but might be too "match-3-ish" for your liking.
I'm partial to reply, but SPiN was picked as the best puzzle game of 2008 by IGN Wireless It is a very fast-paced one, more of an arcade puzzler remotely in the same pace as WarioWare (except faster, if you get that far). There's a lite version with one game mode and limited objects.
Rummage is featured in the iTunes "New and Noteworthy" section for Games!!! Looking for a good puzzle game... check out Rummage. It is currently featured in the iTunes "New and Noteworthy" section for Games! Rummage is a word puzzle game, but it revolves more around strategy than vocabulary. Described as "The illegitimate offspring of Bookworm and Bejeweled", "...challenging, contemplative game" and "the most diabolical word game ever!". For those of you who haven't played it, check out these reviews! "...there are plenty of word games out there for the iPhone. If you can only pick a handful, or perhaps just one game, to download and put in your iPhone/iPod Touch, get Rummage!" - Nine Over Ten http://www.nineoverten.com/2009/09/27/rummage-iphoneipod-touch-review/ "Rummage spells out all the right features, including OpenFeint support, deep gameplay, and enough puzzles to keep you playing for a couple weeks." - Pocket Gamer 7/10 Bronze Award http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Rummage+(iPhone)/review.asp?c=16084
Yo, if its your game, thats ok, but a disclaimer would be nice. Also, this is an OLD thread, the OP surely has bought his puzzle game by now. Just saying
