Dear friends, first of all hi everybody. It's my first post here. I love to read your feedbacks and love Big Albie reviews Now, I'm looking for a good POOL game for iPhone. I tried many of them but just a few sold me. I'd say I prefer 2D more than 3D games (maybe because i'm an old school player) Pool Rebel + Great style + Many option settings + Physics - Sometimes aim is a little bit frustrating Micro Pool + I like the "toon" stlye + It's easy enought to be fun even for the non-hardcore gamers + It's easy to aim - Not so many options (in game I mean. For example you cannot spin the ball where you prefer, you have 5 hit points) - On my 3G it is a but laggy when I've many balls on screen Please give me your suggestion. Cya! Snowball
Midnight Pool +works on 3.0 and 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 +pretty realistic environments populated with bystanders +an accurate aiming target on screen (which you can turn off if you want) +Seven characters with fun personalities and dialogue +Three different types of pool games (UK 8 ball, US 8 ball, and US 9 ball) +Allows two player +Challenging challenges +If it lags, you can actually go to the options and turn lag off!
Considering top view pool games my vote goes to MicroPool. If an update fixes the frame rate issue and adds statistics (winnings/losses) it'd be an excellent game (4/5 at least). I'm really looking forward for a MicroPool update.
Virtual Pool is great. It has an awesome career mode and then has a pretty decent online multiplayer.
virtual pool is my favourite. Its got a load of pool types such as 8 ball, 9 ball, stripes and solids or colours or all the balls. Theres online play in it. And a very long career mode. Id reccomend it.
I know you're primarily interested in 2D but Virtual Pool is the best. Most realistic, lot of depth and online multiplayer that works great. I've tried many and VP is the king.
