What app is recommended for sharpening up photos taken on the iPhone and also is there a preferred camera app for taking the pictures? Thanks a lot, Howard
Hmm my two favorite are Photogene and Juxtaposer try demo. Author of Juxtaposer just released ColorSplash $2 which I'd get if I didn't already own for my imac Pixelmator $59 with it's magic wand tool selection which makes doing these kinds of color/black and white images in less than 30 seconds. Colorsplash as far as I could tell is a zoom in process and highlight the areas you wish to save for color. Then again comparing $59 to $2 isn't really apples to oranges either.
Sharpening is done well by Picoli (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=286056016&mt=8). The most universal camera app I know is Snappy (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=298894828&mt=8). But keep in mind, that none of the camera apps includes GPS data - at least not in the way the build-in app does.
Is there a photo app that you guys would recommend that can help me add overlays or effects to the picture? Something a little more than just sharpening up pictures. Thanks
Is colorsplash worth it? the guy at uniqueapps.com with his youtube page helped me a bit, but im not sure any advice?
